We called the Glass Guru's. We were connected to Colorado Springs office. I'm not sure how we were…read moreconnected to a farther office. They came out. Gave us our quote. We accepted after my husband asked a few questions. They took the measurements that day. We gave 50% deposit check. Fast forward to about a month later. The glass had arrived in their shop, we scheduled an install date. Jesse and Dee arrived to do the work. Efficient, friendly the door looks wonderful. An enormous improvement from the temporary doggy door we had. (Freezing last winter) This new door is being enjoyed by all of our large dogs. No cold air. We can finally close the sliding glass door again. Two thumbs up gentlemen. Thank you. Our cost was $1500 (And a quote of $5000 for French Doors) if you want to go fancy.

I would not recommend this company. They installed several glass pieces throughout my home, and one…read morepane became discolored. Initially, I was told it would be covered under warranty. Then I was told I would have to pay out of pocket, followed by another explanation that it would be partially covered (materials only, not labor), and finally that it wasn't covered at all. The lack of clear communication and constantly changing information was frustrating. I was also told I would receive a follow-up call, which never happened. What should have been a simple glass replacement turned into a waste of time. I ultimately found a local company that completed the work for about half the cost and was much easier to work with. They were also far more professional and friendly compared to the technician who came out, who seemed uninterested and was not particularly courteous.

Closing on our house we need 1; 26 year old window replaced, and maybe 3 window springs replaced. Called aspen glass, they came out. They said o no we can fix that dont need whole thing replaced. He was great, said we needed 1 piece of glass and just needed some lube for that window and the other 3 window springs. Got estimate. Price ok. They could do it before contract said needed complete to sell our house. So tell them yep go ahead. I give half as deposit. They come out to do the job. The tech (which was fantastic) said our springs needed replaced in that broken window . Which i wouldve thought the first guy wouldve caught, so asked the manager why it wasnt caught. They said o they have to go under contract before checking the window out more. Whatever, were in a time crunch to close need it done. Waiting for them to call to see what they can do. I finnally get ahold of someone 4 days before its due for contract to close on our house, they say ya we might have some springs here. I say well i dont mind paying a little extra for springs. K ya they can come out monday to do springs. Came out got springs done. I call the office to pay off the rest of the bill. She said its ---$. K the other half plus 100 extra for springs is what i figured. She said k thats the final, i said need a receipt as the work has to be done by today. Got receipt. Wednesday night at 4:20 ( 20 minutes after they close, and the day before we close on house) i get an email. They say they realized i didnt pay the other half of my bill. And sent me over a new invoice for the springs. I said um is there not a discount on here as you guys didnt catch it when you did estimate of our window to be fixed, and at that price i couldve gotten a new window. They said o we gave you a big discount. We empathized with your situation. So i paid the rest. So all together to fix 1; 26 year old window. Was $801. 1 piece of glass 2 springs and some tape. Almost double what my estimate was. So i do not recomend this company at all. 1 star because both the techs were great.

VERY Disappointed in City Glass. I have done business in the past but this time was a HUGE…read moredisappointment. First I took an example glass in to be recreated and was told it was 1/4 inch thick. When I heard the price I shopped around and found another company charging 1/2 the price so I ordered it from them. Upon arrival I noticed the glass was thicker. I took the example back to get the corners notched and when I questioned the thickness I was told it was in fact. 3/16 inch glass NOT 1/4 inch glass even after they measured it the first time. Then the glass technician came out and looked at my job to notch the front 2 corners of 3 pieces by 7/8 inch and quoted me $10 per square cut for a total of $60 since I had 3 pieces of glass. I agreed to this cost and paid in full for the job. Approx. and hour and a half later I received a call from City Glass and they told me the job was a little harder and more than they expected so they were going to have to charge a little more for the job. They then stated $55 per cut and proceed to talk to me like I would accept it with no questions asked. I immediately said "NO". I can buy new glass for this price. This would be a price increase from $60 to $330. I was then told I could come get my glass and a refund. I feel this was EXTREMELY poor customer service and bad representation. I was quoted a price and finalized the cost. They saw the project. They SHOULD have honored THEIR agreement but didn't and just told me to come get the glass. BAD!!! I will NEVER do business here again. This was a rip off because they made a mistake they felt I should pay for it. I have further pictures to prove my claim and show the small job requested. I WON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!

Went the 'extra mile' on the little things! THANK YOU!
