Do not waste your time and hire them for all your concrete needs!! Danny and his team are not only extremely knowledgeable about concrete, they are professional and quick. They were our fourth concrete company that came for an estimate. The first was shady, the other two ghosted us and didn't send an actual estimate, so Dazcon was our choice. They were priced very right too. Our existing concrete was done during a flip and complete trash. We also wanted to extend the patio line and have the rest of the yard graded for turf. They answered the call right away, told me they'd get back to me with a date for an estimate. Danny's son came for the estimate and we got the quote the same evening. Work scheduled for the following week. Day 1: Showed up early and demo was started. Day 2: Showed up early and demo/grading/side form complete. Day 3: Rebars and concrete pour completed. Day 4: Forms removed I wish all contractors were as quick without sacrificing quality as they do. Danny and his team are stand up men. Dazcon Concrete exemplifies everything a contractor should be - honest, trustworthy, transparent, responsive, communicative, professional, and high quality. In my initial request for stamped concrete bids, I solicited contractors with at least 4.5-5 star ratings. I ultimately went with Danny because he had one of the most competitive prices and a nice, detailed, itemized quote. Given how large our project was, we had so many questions (regarding drainage, regulations, etc.), which was natural given such a large investment and the current inflation situation . But Danny was very patient and thorough in his explanations. He even went above and beyond by going to the City of Chula Vista, himself, to get more info and documentation to fully answer one of our questions. I wish I knew about Danny's company a few years back when I put up a large retaining wall in my backyard. I totally would have gone with him. What an amazing experience. Being first time homeowners, my fiance and I were nervous to start such a big project. It was a huge investment for us and we had no idea what to expect. The owner of the company, Daniel, came to our home for the initial estimate. Upon his arrival and introducing ourselves I immediately had a good feeling about him. I had a sketch for him to look at and he quickly observed our back yard. Because of his experience he immediately understood the goal were trying to achieve. We recieved a proposal later that evening. After 3 other bids, my fiance and I chose Daniel. I was blown away with his knowledge but most of all by his personality. He is commited to the customers interests and creating a positive experience. He constantly kept us up to date on the status and he even finished a few days earlier than what was originally planned. Danny and his crew were amazing to work with!!! In September Danny came over to look at my back and front yards and give me an estimate. He really took the time to listen to my ideas and also made some awesome suggestions. I got a total of 4 other quotes and finally decided in October that I wanted to move forward with his company. My sons birthday party was going to be on Dec 14th so I expressed that I needed the job to be done before. I am so grateful that he took the time and effort to rearrange his schedule to fit me in and get the job done before the party. He also recommend a turf company that he works with that I ended up using as well because they work together. It was not easy with the rain we had during construction. This was the best contractor experience I've ever had. Wanted to add a additional driveway to the side of my garage so I had various companies come out for quotes. Danny stood out from the rest. I met with a few contractors from home advisor and Dazcon were the most professional. They drew out an actually plan of the work that was being done and I appreciated my contractors being specific. They showed up on time both days they said they would be here, and there was at least one person working the entire time. Eva the Project Manager initially came by and did a quote and worked out a comparable price for the concrete work that Danny and crew did. They extended our driveway, sidewalk path on side of the house and patio in the back. Eva communicated with me every step of the way what was happening, time and day of work.The work was done professionally and I loved how they included my dads old pavers into the concrete. The work took a day and a half and the workers were friendly and efficient. They cleaned up their work afterwards. Eva returned later with a small plant for us and Danny returned in the morning to do some finishing touches. I really appreciate the customer service everyone showed us and of course the concrete work was great! Eva even took time to play with my 3yr old son when i knew she was busy and he got to sit in the concrete truck and honk the horn. Huge highlight for him.
