The man running the place seemed to have plenty of work to do (seems like the place gets alot of business) but to my surprise he told be to come back in one hour and the job would be done. And it was! I was very impressed with that. The work that was done was very good (shoes looked nice and shiny). The price charged was perhaps slightly on the high side but not exorbitant. It's as if they are simply caretaking the place, and the way some shoes are just strewn on display, it doesn't look like their doing due diligence in that area. Shoe selection is wide and varied, but the actual sizes offered are always - and I mean always - hit or miss. Another source of frustration. I do like that the store is larger and has more of a selection, so that is plus to entice me to drop in when I'm in the area. Upon calling, we spoke with Charlie, who stated he would be glad to take a look at our furniture, but rather than have us trek across town, he simply needed some photos in order to give us a quote. After receiving the quote, which we felt was very fair, we had Charlie Horner effect a repair. We could not be happier with the quality of the repair. Actually we were AMAZED at the quality of the repair and wish to commend Mr. Horner for saving us hundreds of dollars by not having to purchase a new chair.
