We had a deep cleaning service arranged after a failed duct cleaning left excessive dust throughout…read moreour home. I made it clear that nothing was off-limits and that the tops of cabinets were a priority (a no brainer for dust collection). Maid Perfect sent 3 crew members but only allowed ~ 3 hours, which was not sufficient for a true deep clean. During the final walkthrough, the checklist was reviewed and the crew verbally confirmed the cabinet tops were cleaned. We trusted that and did not physically climb up on our countertops to check the surface at the time. We were displaced from our home for about a week. so after returning to our home two days later, it was obvious that the tops of all cabinets had not been cleaned, even slightly. When I contacted Maid Perfect, they insisted the work had been done and attributed it to settling dust, which was inaccurate as this was not consistent throughout our home. They did not believe us and doubled down that they were for sure cleaned. I continued to press as this is was a major oversight. After multiple follow-ups and photo evidence, they agreed to return as they acknowledged the cabinets were in fact missed, but ONLY to address the few random photos I took. They allotted 10 minutes to fix this. They continually declined to acknowledge that ALL cabinet tops were missed, and if I wanted them all cleaned then they would need to charge me. Rather than taking FULL accountability and making it right, they focused on limiting their scope and defending their position. The lack of ownership and unwillingness to properly correct the issue reflects poorly on their service. While they may be suitable for routine cleaning, I would not recommend them for a true deep clean. They cared more about their schedule, than my house being properly cleaned. They even charged a travel fee initially, so I'm not sure why we weren't given appropriate time and follow-through on their clear oversight. I continued to advocate for myself, and then they declined coming to fix anything at all. Truly shows they didn't want to put forth the effort to begin with.

Three people came and worked three hours (9 hours of cleaning). I closed one of my bedrooms off, telling them not to clean, which left them approximately 1000 ft.² to do. Attached are pictures that were taken about 15 minutes after the crew left. I provided these pictures to Maid Perfect and felt insulted when their response to me was that these problems were very minor. They offered to send another crew out to fix the minor problems (per their policy) but I declined because her email communication.was anything but friendly. I told her that I was not comfortable having one of their crews back in my home and requested a partial refund instead. I asked for $100 out of the over $400 that we paid. Once again, she declined stating that they will fix the minor repairs per their policy. The pictures speak for themselves.
