My mother and my 4-year-old daughter talk on the phone daily. The day after our recent photo shoot with Dawn Sela I sat in shock, while my typically quiet child recounted every detail to Grandma! And I mean every detail from the cows and the sheep, to standing on the fence to running around the pine trees. Usually this chat is a short one, that day it was a record setting fifteen minutes explaining how Miss Dawn chased her around the Christmas trees! And, I loved listening.
Dawn has been our family photographer since our 2013 newborn shoot and the process remains fun and joy filled. She is absolutely delightful to work with - a true professional who delivers proofs and products quickly with no hassle. Well, I promise you never have to follow up because she is on top of things, but you will be tormented trying to decide which photos to print. Every image, and I do mean every image, is stunning.
Am I biased? Well, sure these are photos of my baby, so you'd have a point to that charge. But, I can say objectively that Dawn has a genuinely kind, thoughtful manner and an uncanny knack for working with tiny humans that puts them so at ease, their personalities shine in every single image.
