She was professional, patient, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire cleaning. You can tell she truly cares about the work she does and about her patients. I went in 3 weeks ago because I had an extremely sore throat and couldn't speak. Had to call off…read morework and went here to get a note for my manager. My entire visit took about 5 minutes. The female nurse that saw me basically shined a flashlight down my throat and told me I had some sort of viral infection and gave me Amoxicillin. Finished my entire course and eventually my body broke out in extreme rashes and hives. Went back here again and this time a male nurse saw me-- super rude, impatient, and seemed to be in a rush to get off work as he was at the front desk chatting with the receptionists and complaining about his job. My visit was also somewhere around the 5 minute mark. He immediately gave me Prednisone and sent me off. Prednisone didn't do anything. Went to AFC Urgent Care in Chino Hills instead and they asked me if I had been examined properly and had any tests/labs been done and I said no. They suspected I had mononucleosis and that prescribing me Amoxicillin causes the type of rash I am experiencing. Basically all of my struggles with this skin reaction could have been avoided had the nurse that originally saw me for my 'sore throat' properly examined me. TLDR; the front desk receptionists are kind and patient in my experience. There is a lady doctor that works here that is also very kind and patient. All the other NPs they have treating urgent care patients are rude and unprofessional and always in a rush to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

She told me to scan the QR code posted up front to fill out all my info. Surprisingly it didn't take long. They also had free wi-fi so that helped a lot. Right after completion, I was again impressed of how fast I was taken in, literally 2 minutes after I finished my intake forms. After taking my vitals, I was taken to an exam room, everything is brand new and it's super clean. Immediately after the PA came in. He was friendly, thorough and to the point. My prescription was sent right away to my local pharmacy and given all my postcare info. I was in and out of there in less than 30 min. I love that, easy no stress visit, and got what I needed, this is perfect for busy people or in a time crunch. They just opened April 1st so probably not a lot of people know about this place yet. I live right by here, so I knew about it before they opened. After a few days I got an automated follow up text to see how I was doing. I thought I was ok but a few days after my condition got worse so I returned after 6 days. Same easy check in. Different front office staff from the first visit, but same friendly greeting upon arrival and exit. I did observe only 1 other patient in the waiting room for both visits. Lucky me! This second visit (on a Sunday afternoon) I was even more impressed and happy because my PA was very knowledge, thorough and very personable. My appointment was a bit longer this time, and she asked my permission for ai transcription as she spoke all her findings out loud. I'm wondering why the last PA didn't do that. But not complaining. Usually urgent cares are quick and to the point, no small talk so I'm used to that. But I really felt like everything was addressed in a compassionate, caring, very thorough way with my PA today. I could tell she's highly experienced. Her examination was even better and more thorough than some of my other specialty doctors I see! Her name is Monica Williams. I know providers are all different, but overall so far my experiences here get better every visit. Trust me, I'm immunocompromised so I'm a regular at these places!
