"I am allowed to talk back because you are not better than me." Yup, read on... The original request was for a dumpster, and the delivered "units" were trailers. The verbal agreement was for 3 days for $375, drop off Thursday at 7 so pick up Sunday at 7. A written quote was not offered. When they arrived Thursday at 7, terms were discussed. Cash only and they would come Saturday at 7 instead of Sunday. Saturday (new day of pick up), we were called and told they would come at 5 instead of 7. We said that would not work for us. But, they came at 5 anyway. This is where it gets crazy. I will skip most details, but when we said we had until 7, Alan said that the agreement was for the material under the tarp and it's done, so they were taking it now. Alan's words and actions were so disrespectful, he almost caused a physical altercation with my son, who had actually offered him a drink when Alan and another (very quiet) gentleman arrived. When I came out to see why they were there at 5, I told Alan this was not the way to do business. He talked back to me, and when I said that was what was so disrespectful, he said, and I quote, "I am allowed to talk back because you are not better than me." There was a lot more said, but until and unless Anthony trains his son-in-law better on how to talk to elders and clients, avoid this company completely. He actually even said about my son when he left the area (sorry about the language, but it's a quote), "Good, I didn't want to deal with that mother fucker anymore anyway." Really Alan? You are old enough to know better than this.
We like to support small, local businesses but this is next level bad business. Sorry Anthony. read more
