Unfortunately I cannot recommend. Best to avoid and go with real professional company. My stairs were left a horrific mess. Looking like someone had poured black or dark brown dirty water or motor oil onto them, leaving them almost black looking. Then when he left, the carpets were literally soaked with water - so soaked with water that you could hear the squish, squish, squish as you walked on them, like walking through a swamp, meaning he did not remove the water. Took the rest of the day and all night to dry. Plus he connects his hose to your water supply rather than his own tank of water unlike the other professional carpet cleaning services, so take this into account if you decide to hire him - it's extra money out of your pocket. Also he doesn't have a work van like others, but drives a dodge charger. He has a single tank (about 50 gal) that he carries into the house for the dirty water to empty into, well it does, but he didn't empty it as needed, thus the reason I believe the stairs and upstairs hallway floor were left soaking in water when he left, the tank could not hold any more dirty water, so instead of emptying the tank, he just left the dirty water in the carpet. Needless to say I called him and he said he wanted to see a picture, as if he didn't believe me, but I already took pictures and then sent them to him via text. Even after I used my home shampooer to try, I thought it helped, but it didn't because once dried again, the spots disappointingly returned - they still looked the same. I've had my carpet cleaned every 6 - 9 months, so have plenty of experience with carpet cleaners, and these stairs have never been like this before. Never had a problem with the 'other service' I usually use. Also in reply to his reply, as to his using my roommates as some excuse for my stairs being dirty, (I have two), it is no different than having two family members living with me, they are still human beings, right? So don't know what the heck his meaning behind that was? The stairs were no more dirty than from normal traffic - not dark brown almost black. Also he did not offer to come back and fix it. I'm the one who had to ask him, not the other way around. Needless to say I will not hire this business again read more

Regretfully, Mr. David could not provide the service he advertised. Our rugs were full of water after he finished. When we contacted him about it he did return and try to remove more of the water but we ended up taking them out of both rooms and placing one in garage and one outside to dry. They were still wet the next day. Had really high expectations for someone who mentioned they had been doing this for 16 yrs. read more

David did an awesome job on a carpet many of us thought was trashed and beyond saving. Thank you!

To be fair, I am giving this honest and earned 3 star review from a customer service standpoint. I truly believe in being earnest and being sympathetic with this review, as there are 11 reviews in total for this small business. If it weren't for David's handmade carpet cleaning solution he uses, I would've given him a hard earned 1-2 stars. David uses a custom carpet cleaning machine with a homemade base/solution. If you're lucky enough and he has enough to spare, he will leave you a bottle of solution for in between sessions. Although he has a custom rotor carpet machine, and it does scrub your carpets, I wish he maybe had vacuumed before or after getting the carpets wet. Just because the dog hair from my house, owning two corgis, is spun out to the side of the baseboards when he is done with the job. Again, I loved the solution, it kept my house smelling nice and clean, but the machine spun out the dog hair on the side boards, and also the machine is sometimes too powerful, that it left dirty water stains on my doors and walls too. Only downfall. Again, he would leave my home and it smelt almost felt like a symphony after he cleaned my carpets. My home was harmonized in being clean. He was able to do a job to my standards. Although I have been highly impressed with David's response times to jobs, and his products, again, his customer service skills could improve from here. It looked like to me I was an easy $200 job and he knew or got too comfortable in knowing I would probably use him as a repeat vendor. I had used David to clean to my couch, love seat, downstairs living room carpet (when I had one), stairs, and my bedroom. After a few times of using David in my home, there were multiple times that products of use were left behind, or even my own personal or house items were not left in the condition or in its original location after David's scheduled visit. One time in specific, David had use my upstairs bathroom. He left the sink in disarray, and had offered to fix my sink after his departure. I was leaving the next day for an out of town trip, and I wasn't sure why I was even missing a piece from my sink if he had all items PRIOR to him using my sink, and it was all working dandy and fine...although he offered to fix it after, this was the signal to me that he unfortunately did not treat my own home and products with respect. If something is working prior to a vendor arriving, my stuff better be working and found in its original condition too. On the same day of this incident, which is all together why I no longer wish to continue to use David for his services, is because he also forgot to shampoo my couches that same day as well. He said he was willing to come back and deduct this from my next invoice, but truly I just wish to never go with him again. The same day he shampoo'd my living room carpet, and before he departed, and had already serviced my carpet... he suggested I just throw it away, because there is no way we could revive this rug. After paying him x amount to do so. Which really to me, looks like David needed to charge extra for the extra service he performed that day. Even though, he told me just to throw it away when it dries. There's no more saving it. I wish I had known prior to him starting to shampoo the rug, because we could've saved x amount of dollars that day too. Again, I really enjoyed David's initial work. I believe when he gets comfortable with you, he is comfortable. I often work from home, and David would also continue to talk to me during his work, which is fine, but I wish he had remembered I was still working from home too and kept it limited. If you have pets, David is the one you should contact. He really leaves your house smelling immaculate. If you can get past the attitude with David too, he truly is a good carpet cleaning guy. read more

Davids Restore Carpet Cleaning - David having 0 sympathy for addressed errors in his past jobs and taking 0 ownership, I will not continue to have this man service my HOME - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Chesapeake, Virginia

I used Davids service after moving from my house for a post cleanup procedure. I must admit, his quality work for his price was awesome. He was very quick to respond on Yelp and on the phone. I setup an appointment about a month-ish out and he was on time, kept up with what he said would be the amount of time it would take, and knocked it out of the park. I had no issues with his work and would recommend him to anyone considering getting their carpets cleaned. I'd post a picture of the stuff he took out of the carpet, but it's kind of disgusting.... slightly embarrassing. =) Thank you Yelp business referral services! Davids Restore Carpet Cleaning - Before cleaning - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Chesapeake, Virginia

David was very sweet and personable, however; he did not meet the guarantee that was initially promised. Before I received services from him, he claimed "if I can't get it out, no one can" only to find, once my carpet was completely dry, the stains were still very present. Also, something that I found quite unprofessional, and rude, was when I informed David that I would be at church until 10 AM, and that I would meet him afterwards, he consistently called me approximately seven times while I was at my churches service. This bothered me very much because I informed him where I would be and that I would not be available until 1015/10:30 AM to receive the services. I've attempted to contact David directly to address my concerns but have received nothing/no contact in return. This service cost me $149.00 and I am displeased with the results. read more

Great service and price. Will be using again and highly recommend. My furniture turned out beautiful after it was cleaned.

I requested a quote on area rug cleaning. David was quick to respond and gave me a verbal quote on 4 rugs. He came out the next day. He was on time and showed me how his process is better, than the process I usually use. In addition, he gave me a quote on cleaning the floor tile in 2 bathrooms. They came out great! The area rugs look like new again! read more

The service and quality was excellent. Very friendly and informative. I know little about carpet cleaning but he was able to explain what he was doing and how it differed from other companies. We have two cats, one who tends to "snarf'n barf". We tried to clean up after them but there were areas we simply couldn't get to. He made the carpets look nearly brand new. He even got almost all of a rust stain off the carpet. I would definitely use his services again. read more
