After looking at some samples, he said he would need a little time to come up with a couple designs and would give me a call back. I left my cell number as all seemed fine. A few days later I was shopping in that same strip mall and stopped in to see where he was at with the designs. With a 'used car salesman' type of attitude, he told me he had not yet even started on it and that he would call me in a few days. Well, I learned why his smile and attitude seemed so fake, for a few days went by, then a couple of weeks......and nothing. Apparently, my money was not good enough for him and that business must be so good that he could afford to blow off a $2,000+ sale. I did not want to waste anymore of my time with Sako for he definitely put me off. So be it. There are plenty of other jewelers in the area I suggest you go to who would gladly accept your money. From my experience, Diamond Creations is not one of them.

They were expensive enough that I said I would consider an alternative. I found accent and it took two times to find them open since they were on vacation. Probably should have called, but once I met them, they walked through options for both stretching and cutting the ring. They were more optimistic about stretching which was much more economical and faster. After they had finished it, they mentioned they noticed a small crack that they filled before stretching and then went ahead and tried. They were much more willing to look for a more economical option. I was very impressed. 1/5 the cost of the other store.

Over the Christmas holiday I was in town and I came back to Rachel for a smaller project - shortening the chain of a delicate 14k gold necklace.
