Curious I decided to turn and drive into the suburban street where there are 6 shops next to each other. Besides the butcher the bakery was the only shop open. Walking in the aroma of fresh baked bread and other goodies filled the air. A couple of shelves of bread and a table with various baked goods from muffins and croissants to Almond horseshoes and pastries. I love pretzels (and they make a couple of styles) and most of the ones I see at the mall are either hard and dried, out or greasy and buttery. These pretzels on the other hand were fresh and baked with just enough sea salt to give it a little bit of flavor. This also seems to be the local spot for coffee. In the back they sold a number of German goodies, which added to the authenticity of the place.
