I am a huge advocate of shopping local so when I began my search for my wedding gown I started at local stores and the experience was horrible. I made the decision to go to David's Bridal in Tupelo and from the moment I stepped in the store I had the most wonderful time. Ms. Donna Chapman was my consultant and she was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and pretty in all the dresses I tried on and really listened to what I wanted. I was very impressed with her ability to find exactly what I wanted and needed for my gown. My mother and I had a wonderful experience and when I said yes Ms. Donna celebrated with me. I have also decided to get bridesmaids dresses there and the ladies have been wonderful with that as well. I'm only giving a four star because when my dress came in it was still the wrong size; however, the issue was fixed and the correct dress was back to the store in less than four weeks. The staff have been very friendly to me and are even recognizing my face when I come in with my other bridesmaids. I also found out that Ms. Donna has been promoted to assistant store manager and I think this was a wonderful decision. Ms. Brandy McKinney is also a wonderful consultant that has been helpful to me when I have made trips in the store. Looking forward to continuing to work with them during this process. read more

Went to David's Bridal after a co-worker suggested I should try them for finding a dress to wear to a wedding since I would likely need alterations. I did not have an appointment. I was greeted immediately at the door and assisted with multiple dresses. I had to leave before deciding and the sales consultant pulled an additional dress for me and had it waiting when I returned. Again, when I returned I was greeted at the door and then the dresses pulled for me. Once I decided they began helping me with shoes etc...When I told them when I was going to need the dress by they realized I was in trouble and immediately got in touch with the alterations manager Melody Good. Melody went over and beyond to work around my hectic work scheudule and in between her existing appointments to get this dress pinned for the alterations. The icing on the cake...as she is placing the final pins in the hem...I had been thinking the whole time this dress really feels looser than I remember...I see the tag...I have the wrong size. They quickly get the correct size for me and Melody's next appoinment is already waiting but she graciously works me back in. Again everyone was extremely nice and helpful but I am most greatful to Melody who made it possible for me to get the dress by working me in for the alterations. read more

I scheduled my appointment online. My consultant, Pamela Smith, greeted one of my bridesmaids and I at the door with a huge smile. She immediately escorted me to the front table for me to fill out the necessary forms for the appointment. Pamela was very friendly and most definitely a people person! She was so amazing and made me feel so beautiful. She helped me choose a few dresses to try on and assisted me in the dressing room. I would also like to say how selfless Pamela was that day (May 23, 2015). She had a graduation to go to, as I later learned in the appointment. She was going to miss that graduation to finish up w/my appt. Thanks to her awesome Assistant Manager, Vida, Pamela was able to leave and attend the graduation. Vida also went above and beyond when I asked for an explanation of the monies I would need on my next visit to put my wedding dress on layaway! I will say I was a bit hesitant after seeing some reviews, but went ahead and scheduled my appointment. This was my 1st time trying on wedding dresses. They were absolutely prepared for my arrival. They had pulled & printed the "favorites" I had pinned on their website, had all of my information on hand and swiftly introduced me to Adair who I would be working with. She was wonderfully attentive. Right beside me to help changing bras, skirts, & dresses. Having Brittany who does alterations available is what ended up sealing the deal. They didn't have my size 4 in first 2 of the dresses I tried. I explained my delema that while I'm petitie 5'4", I have a long torso...making finding that right "fit" even harder. Brittany looked over my suggestions and as one who makes the end alterations, she pegged one that I should try on. It was the perfect fit!!! In an instant the deal was sealed. First of all I'd like to say that Angela Pratt (stylist) went ABOVE & BEYOND providing my daughter, Stormy, the most EXCELLENT QUALITY service in choosing her wedding dress! She was BEYOND AWESOME!!!! Then we met Vida Deaton (service supervisor) & she was BEYOND AWESOME as well!! I guess you could say David's Bridal in the Tupelo, MS area TOTALLY ROCKS!!! I had an amazing experience here! Donna is the one who helped me look for my wedding gown and I had only picked 3 and wasn't there to actually purchase that day but the third one I tried was perfect! She wasn't pushy and didn't try to get me to purchase something I wasn't happy with and told me I could go think about it and call her when I decided so that's what I did! She was so nice! When it came closer to my wedding I went in for alterations and worked with Melody and she was also really nice we had some issues with it fitting like it was suppose to so she went and got Vida who was her manager and they worked together and got everything fixed and fitted like it was suppose to! This is my first wedding and I was supper stressed today. My bridal party was with me and they were excited but I was nervous. Brandi greeted us at the door with a smile which eased my nerves a bit. She was patient with me despite all the phone calls I kept getting. She listened to what I liked and worked with me. EVERYONE pitched in and needless to say, the first dressed picked for me was the one. Brandi got every detail down to the headpiece. Absolutely adore David Bridal! My sister is getting married and we just left the store, from picking out her dress. Not only did she find the dress of her dreams, but there was a great staff that made it all possible. Mrs. Pamela is the one who helped us, and she said she just loved what she did. You could tell she was born to be a consultant. They helped us through every style dress, every price range, veil, jewelry, shoes, etc... Any bad review must've been from years ago, and I'm sure they've cleaned house since then because I can assure you. Everyone at David's Bridal did all they could do to help us out. Ms. Melody in alterations is the best! One of my friends went bridesmaid dress shopping with me in the store, and talked me into getting a bigger dress than what I needed (she had a bad bridesmaid dress experience when she ordered online with a different retailer). I went to go and get my dress taken in - but Ms. Melody went to go see if they had my dress in a smaller size. Luckily, they had my dress is stock in the appropriate size, and was able to exchange for free! It would have cost just as much as I paid for the dress as it would to get it altered. Plus, it saved me the trouble of having to drive an hour there and back to pick up an altered dress. Thanks again, Ms. Melody! read more

The Tupelo, MS David's Bridal was wonderful. I went without an appointment which was fine. When I arrived, I filled out a couple of things and very quickly we had a consultant. Mindy was her name and I can not say enough good things about her. She listened intently to my needs and I could tell was on a mission to find my dress. We had a wide range of options, tried on a lot of beautiful dresses, but ultimately went with one of the last ones she pulled. I felt like a princess not only by my dress, but how we were treated. I had a great experience at David's Bridal!! I had no idea what I wanted, and I was given a chance to look in their book of dresses. I was also able to go and look at the racks to see if I found anything I would like! Stephanie is going to be the only one I will work with when I go to find my bridesmaids dresses, simply because of the fantastic job she did helping me! Stephanie helped me figure out why I did/didn't like a dress, certain things that drew me to try on that particular dress, etc. I tried on 8 dresses before I found the one I wanted. I had not planned on shopping for my wedding dress but on Jan 4th 2017, I stopped in at This store.. I had no appointment but they were so very nice. I had 2 teenage kids with me and were starved. I think her name was Ms Shanice suggested we go eat and come back. I gave her a few ideas and left. When I returned she turned me over to Ms Krista. They had several picked out and were so helpful! To sum it up, these ladies including the manager were so helpful, patient, and attentive! Never felt pressured or stressed and Ms Krista also helped with my daughter 's dress:). Had a great experience!! My stylist was Stephanie, and from the moment I met her she was great. We talked, she listened, she never tried to sway me towards a style I didn't want. She got my measurements and off we went. All I can say is "WOW that Stephanie is good!" She brought 4 dresses to the dressing room, all 4 were perfect fits. Matter of fact she listen so well I said "Yes to my dress", and walked out with the second dress I tried on that needed no alterations. Well, let's just say that I didn't expect to actually find my dress when I walked in today! Little did I know that I would be walking out with one with only 3 try-ons!
