Literally a one stop shop for my wedding that was 6 weeks away. Dress, alteration/hem, veil, shoes, earrings, and a garment bag. I didn't have a wedding party so it made everything simple. The ladies were a bunch of help. read more

AMAZED! My husband and I went into David's Bridal in search of a few evening dresses for me to wear on some upcoming cruises for formal night. I was amazed and floored at the beautiful selection they had. I had been to at least 10 different stores over the last week and kept coming up disappointed. This location had hundreds of dresses well below $100.00 with amazing staff that had me in and out in less than an hour. I left with 7 dresses, shoes, a garment bag, and a smile on my face. They don't just have wedding/bridal style they have everything. ITS DEFINITELY A ONE STOP SHOP! The most amazing customer service too, every single consultant was friendly and helpful. read more

We had a 11:00 a.m. appointment for bridesmaids dresses. Felecia was the consultant ( I was told later she is a manager) assigned to assist us. She seemed new and did not have the answers to most of our questions. The service was not great for a bridal fitting. I would not pick this location. I spent $150 on a dress and so did each bridal member you think we could get customer service. The other store staff seemed friendly but nothing spectacular. In my opinion service should be exciting because its a special occasion but this store was a bore. My sister was given a trumpet slip and she needed a mermaid slip. She now has to drive an hour back to the store to exchange. Thumbs down for sure for this location! An update. The district manager called me back. I never spoke to her but they did make things right by sending my sister a free slip for her down free of charge. read more

I appreciate their staff willing to help you out when you need them and on top of that willing to work with you. Trust me I tried a couple dress and some I have to come back because some questions or concern with the dress and yet they are willing to step up the plate and help you out. I walked in with a 3 person entourage without an appointment and someone saw me right away. I felt a little restricted to the number of dresses I could try on, but this being my first appointment for wedding dresses, I needed to try a couple of each style so I had a direction to move forward with, and they definitely gave me that. I tried on a few dresses I knew I would hate to appease the saleswoman, but overall ended up with some decent options and scheduled a follow-up appointment. Ultimately, I found a dress I liked better and cancelled that follow-up but continued to get calls about once a week for the next 4 months, which was not helpful to anyone. The most expensive dress DB carried in February 2014 was $1,300 and there were several options under $500, which is cheaper than you'll find anywhere else. They also now have a cowbell to ring when a bride finds her dress. I had been here before many times at the old location in the Target shopping center for bridesmaid dresses and to help brides to be find their gowns, but this was my first time as the bride. I actually think this location is much smaller than the old one, but perhaps a bit more modern looking. Overall, it's definitely worth giving a try. read more

I am not in the demographic for this store. I'll probably not set foot in here again, but let me tell you that if you're in Beaumont, and in the market for a wedding dress, this is where you should go. I wish I could remember the person helping us out - she was terrific. The bride-to-be that I was with had some very specific items she was looking for and was a little sassy about it. The salesperson had exactly the personality needed to make this easy and enjoyable for b-t-b and everyone else. Fantastic. Honestly. They had a wide variety of dresses and styles, pricing was extremely reasonable and even the staff that wasn't directly helping us was equally friendly and knowledgeable. read more

The most un-compassionate store with terrible customer service. I Do not recommend doing business with them. I ordered a dress for my daughter's wedding about 4-5 weeks ago. It finally came in. A few days after the dress got here we found out we will have to cancel the wedding and move it later in the year due to COVID. The venue made this decision because of numbers. The honeymoon got cancelled by the resort the week before and we could not have her showers either. I know we are not alone in these sad events. I asked them if I could return dress. I have not taken possession of the dress yet! They said I only had 7 days after I ordered it. I said why would I have cancelled it then ? The wedding was still going to happen. We literally just found out AND the dress just came in. They said I could exchange it for something in the store. Well what they have Is the wrong season. She said they expect me to cancel within 7 days if I was not going to need the dress. Well up until 2 days ago I still did. Now I don't. Trust me this is not what we wanted to happen. I had no idea it was going to have to be canceled and rescheduled. They were completely unsympathetic to the situation. This dress wasn't even a 500.00 dress! It's not going to break them. If it's in winter I'll need a winter dress not this one. They do not care. I could not return the dress I never took Possession of! They use the date you pay for it not pick it up! And I had not even picked it up yet. They are the ones that took so long to get it in! Not me, Ridiculous. I will not send anyone to this store, their selections were not that good anyway; but with covid the weekend we planned to go to Houston shopping got cancelled in April. I was running out of time. Don't waste your time with this chain store! Go privately owned. Ps I have a brand new dress for sale . Tags and all. Lol read more

I had an awesome experience looking for a wedding dress at this location. Abigail was very patient and did a great job helping me find the right dress and accessories. My only concern was that I went home to find my $160 veil extremely wrinkled and crumpled in the bag. This was a bit disappointing because I'd like to feel like it was worth my money. Otherwise, overall it was an awesome experience. read more

This David's bridal is amazing. I originally got my dress at a David's bridal in San Jose California and it was a horrible experience. The staff was inattentive and when I asked to try on my a specific dress (the dress, my dress now) they would not bring it out for me to try on. I couldn't understand why because it was in my budget and my size. Luckily my maid of honor was there and grabbed the dress and put it in my room and what do you know it was perfect! Ball gown, Vera wang. Perfect. I brought my dress here to have it altered since I'm getting married here and the staff was amazing! So attentive and sweet! The manager was so accommodating and easy to talk too and the seamstress was so awesome and I could tell she knew what she was doing! Hemming my dress was quite a chore since I'm 4'11 and the train was massive so I really appreciate the time they spent with me! Thank you so much to all of David's bridal team here in Beaumont! I'll upload pictures from the final fitting sometime after my wedding! ;) read more

Today I went in with an open mind and a few dress styles in mind and came out with the perfect gown, shoes, hair piece, colors to help me with my wedding and amazing advice! Bridget Caddell and the lovely lady that was assisting her (can't remember her name) were hands down helpful and made me feel confident! They gave me advice on other details for my wedding such as brides maids dress and pairing with Men's Warehouse. I will be coming back for the rest of my bridal needs! Also if you are looking for an attentive staff, great selection, and helpful ladies, this is your place! read more

Needed a dress for an event which was in a couple of days and was told that David's Bridal goes above and beyond for their customers and let me tell you this is absolutely correct . From arriving with the friendliness of the lady at the desk Olivia to the girl who helped me find my dress Krista who was very polite to even getting the alterations lady Marla who came out and looked at my dress to check if I need anythig doing which she told me I didn't it fitted me perfect but I appreciated her politeness.highly recommend this store if I could give them more then 5* I would . read more

Went in to buy a bridesmaid's dress for a wedding I'm in in April. Went very quickly as I had the style number and color ready to go. My mom came with me, and as I am a soon-to-be bride myself, my mom insisted I try on a couple of dresses. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I continued getting TONS of help and emotional support from Jazlin. She is a soon-to-be bride herself and had soooo much experience and lots of advice on dresses for my style and body type. I 10/10 recommend going to this specific salon and asking for Jazlin. She is FABULOUS and I can't wait to have my actual appointment with her! read more

I give the store 3.5 stars, but our salesgirl gets 5 stars! The store just doesn't have a giant selection and everything is silly expensive. The bridesmaids dresses all cost the same $150 - $200. I think that's a crappy selection to ask your bridesmaids to pay that much! Wish they had more in different price points. They do kind of have a monopoly on cheaper wedding attire. However, Abigail, who helped us was very patient and helpful. She helped us search and search through various colors and dresses until we found what was right. We even had a noisy six month old with us and she wasn't bothered at all. read more

First of all, let me say: I found my dress at this store. Everyone was so nice. We got a LOT of help. Why two stars, then? Because my dress had a tag on it that said it was $99 as part of a sale. It was one of the only reasons I selected it in the first place (my budget was very small). And when I went up to pay for it, the attendant told me that it had been mismarked and insisted that I pay a much higher price for it. Granted, the dress was on clearance in the first place, so it was still barely within budget, but I am furious that they would be so incompetent and refuse to honor their own labels and sales. If you want a "meh" experience, with reasonably priced dresses that are going to need to be altered anyway, this is the place. If not, I'd recommend Jeannie's Bridal. read more

i never review things, good or bad. but my experience was so upsetting here. i went to davids bridal with an appointment to get a wedding dress. i arrived and looked around for about an hour before my stylist was with me. im guessing they judge on looks and because i had my fiancé and 8 week old daughter they assumed i was broke and treated me as such. i would find dresses i liked and theyd say they didnt have my size even tho in one instance i saw the exact same dress one my size one not right by each other and they said they didnt have it. when i found the dress i wanted they didn't have my size so it had to be altered. Laren did the pins and was so sweet, but someone else finished. the manager checked me out and was rude through the check out process. when i picked up my dress it was still super loose and they added things i didn't ask for, i repeatedly said how i liked the plunging neckline and the way my breasts looked and they sewed a cover so that it wasn't plunging anymore. if they worried less about my titties and more about my waist i might be happy with the dress, but customer service was seriously lacking. the manager who had checked me out before also stared at me like i had shit in her mouth. horrible experience. only one good employee. lol i will never recommend davids bridal to anyone. thanks for making my wedding preparation more stressful than it had to be as soon as we walked in and got the vibe of the place my fiancé immediately wanted to leave but i was dead set on getting a dress. i should have listened to him. and we all know men are never right lol read more

Walked in looking for prom dresses. Five sales ladies visable not with customers. Not one acknowledged us or even asked if we needed help. After 10 minutes of them looking at us, I asked for help. Sales lady pointed in direction of dresses and left. read more

I am feeling like my back is enormous,my body isn't right for any dress after dealing with the alteration lady at this store. I was misled and told come back in two weeks and pay $65 and the dress will work, there was one disaster after another. Then I was told to pay $400.00. After having a huge issue with the first dress and feeling misled. Now it happens for the second time.My wedding is in 30 days, I have no dress and still owe $635.00 on the Davids Bridal card. Hayley was a precious sales clerk and tried to fix it all. The manager,Felicia understood my frustration and was patient, but it was out of her hands to correct the issue. This store makes you feel amazing and then things go wrong and you leave broken hearted. It's terrible leaving with a feeling of never wanting to try on a wedding dress again. NEVER GET ALTERATIONS Here! Unless you want the lady to turn you around facing a mirror, and show you in a rude tone, you grew 3 inches in your back and this dress will not work for you." And it's in writing on the website that they are to tell you the total cost for alterations prior to you coming back? How did my price go from $65.00 to $390? read more

I am a little late with my review but I went to davids bridal last month with my mom and sister (MOH). I didn't have an appointment but they got me in the same day and rather quickly I might add. The lady who helped us was Beverly, she was very knowledgeable and kind. Being that I had something very specific in mind and I found it before we met with Beverly she was kind enough to walk us around and show me more dresses. I ended up trying on the dress that I saw and fell In love with it instantly! I felt like a princess and I certainly did not want to take it off! My experience at davids bridal was amazing! The only thing that was a little disappointing was that when I went into alterations an awesome gentleman helped us and pinned my dress for me. Then he stepped away for a few minutes and another lady came back and had my papers and told me she would be finishing up with me on my alterations and paperwork. I felt like I should have finished with who started my alterations. But other than that my visit here was pretty amazing. A day that I will never forget! read more

My trip to David's Bridal was back in August and was the first and only place I tried on wedding dresses at. I wasn't expecting to find The Dress on my first trip, but I did! A sweet girl named Alyssa helped me, I was her second bride as she was a newbie to David's, she did awesome - was very attentive and patient. I didn't know exactly which dress I wanted but I knew what I didn't want. An older lady (I think she is the manager) helped her pick out dresses for me to try on and sure enough I found The Dress! How exciting! The color of my dress is not white, not ivory, it's a champagne color, very classic and easy to distinguish from others. Anyways, we ordered and paid for the dress in full that very day. So why two stars? When I went to pick up my dress I was super excited, the girl brought the dress out and I immediately thought "Oh no, this dress is awful!" Then it dawned on me, this is not the same color dress I tried on originally and thought I was getting. I said "are you sure this is my dress?" The girl working said "yes its what you ordered, in ivory color." [Ummm NO. I physically was not the person who entered the dress information into the computer, a David's employee - the MANAGER, was who did it. How the heck was I to know the dress came in three different colors?] I kept calm as my friend is busy flipping out. So I asked her to please go get the dress I tried on. She brought it out and sure enough, two totally different colors. I said "THIS is the dress I thought I ordered." She replies "oh you wanted ivory-champagne." Um YES. The dress I tried on, duh! Their solution: to do an in-store exchange for the right dress color. I get it. Mistakes happen. That's not what bothered me. My wedding is a year away, I've got time. What bothered me was neither of the two girls working the day I picked up my dress apologized to me, nor did they act like they even cared that there was a mistake. They insinuated I was the one who screwed up the order. Not a ONE "I'm sorry" or "let's get this fixed for you." I was the one who apologized, WHY did I do that? Because I'm a freaking nice person. I should NOT have had to apologized to THEM. I left there feeling helpless and worried. I'm not usually bothered by things like this but IT'S MY WEDDING. I want it to be exciting and fun! The second time around when I went back to get the dress (again) I wasn't greeted with cheerful faces or energetic employees. The manager seemed like she hated her job, or has a bad case of RBF. Thankfully the dress was right the second time; HOWEVER, my dress was missing the clasp and some beading was loose [I can deal with it, I'm not letting this dress out of my sight!] Here is my advice on the employees: it starts with a great leader. If your leader stinks, your team will suffer and so will customers. These girls are so excited to come try on dresses, don't make them feel guilty for being the bride! I will say, shipping is faster than projected - so that's a plus. I give this two stars for Alyssa, everyone else I encountered needs to get the chip off their shoulder! read more
