He was very insensitive to my dire financial situation. After my first meeting with him, I had to pay $1115 to him before I left. Knowing how bad my financial situation was, I thought that was very greedy. Obviously, I did not retain his services.

His secretary and assistant team is clueless about what's going on with the cases, have zero communication between each other and continue wasting your time with the same questions even though all the info was provided to them on the first day. The guy had audacity to call me after me attempting numerous times to collect any info about my case with zero responses to advise me that he has no time to discuss the standing of our case because he has a lot of other phone calls and important cases waiting for him. And the reason being is because there is no money in my 15 year old teenager's case so it is not a priority. I trusted them with my child and 3 different ladies from his office kept contacting me giving a contradictory information which in the end end up being faulty. During the 5 minute conversation( mostly a monolog on his part) Ruben advised to find another firm if I was not happy! The reason being was because he couldn't answer any my questions. Stay away from these people. They don't care about you or your children the moment they don't see $$ in your case. I was a resident of Great Neck, LI and Woodmere, LI for many years. It's a small community so Ruben was recommended to me from within and I am extremely disappointed for my son's and mine waste of time! I will share my experience and spread the word about this office with everyone I know including the Forest Hills community half of which were my clients for many years as well. I now realize that they had no intention of taking my cas to trial - they got their hands on a very substantial retaliation and dragged their feet for months, missing deadlines, lying to me, and finally withdrew from my case using a phony excuse just before the trial, leaving me without representation and greatly prejudiced. They are terrible people and worse lawyers.
