I ended up having to schedule a last-minute emergency procedure to get them removed because I just couldn't take the pain anymore. Not only did California Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center get me in on such short notice, but the entire team was incredible. This was my first surgery ever, and even though it was a relatively minor procedure, I was honestly pretty nervous. Everyone was so kind, patient, and reassuring, and they made the whole experience feel so seamless. Thank you to the doctors and staff for taking such great care of me and making me feel comfortable every step of the way. I truly appreciate it more than you know. If you're looking for an oral surgeon, I can't recommend them enough. My doctor was Dr. Arcan and she was wonderful!

My experience was wonderful from the front office to the exceptional care of Dr. Telles. I did NOT have any pain after surgery, which I fully expected after having 3 wisdom teeth extracted many years ago, accompanied by dry sockets! Which are very painful! These were not by Dr. Telles. Dr. Telles went the extra mile to ensure I would not have a dry socket, bonus in my book! He was even kind enough to call me later that same evening to check up on me. Who even does that anymore?? Next time, I need a tooth extracted, I'm going to Dr. Telles!

The staff was wonderful, they went over every aftercare instruction in detail and even sent us home with a thoughtful care package containing all the supplies we needed. Dental office visits aren't my favorite appointments, however, the dental assistant and both Dr.Jung were so gentle and patient in their work! The X-ray and teeth cleaning were so smooth and taken care of with a lot of care. I've been to dental offices where the doctors seem rushed, but I genuinely sensed an attentive and caring spirit from all of the staff members. She has been to three different dentists for implants, and she had the best experience at this office, which is why we keep going back here despite the very long drive. In fact, I've recommended this place to my friend's parents too. I took my mom to all her appointments. Dr. Vu Phan has wonderful bedside manner and was very patient with my mom through the whole process. He answered all of her questions thoroughly and gave her honest answers about whether or not she would need to do additional procedures for her other teeth. He even took the time to teach her how to floss properly. After my mom had the bone graft done, we had pretty frequent follow-up appointments (about every 2 months) to check on the development of the bone graft. In terms of billing, we had to pay half of the cost on the day of the first procedure, and we paid the rest of the cost later. The office did ask us to pay the full amount before they tried to bill the insurance, but my mom told them to bill the insurance first and let her know what the remaining copay would be, so the office did what my mom asked them to do. The office is clean and nicely decorated with a pretty fish tank. The restroom is clean too. Also they charge 3% service fee for credit cards, so I recommend paying in cash or check to avoid the service charge. Parking is plentiful. The staff speak English and Vietnamese.

Extremely frustrating experience with communication, treatment, and follow-through…read more I went to this office because two crowns had fallen off, and I needed them addressed. I've had these crowns since I was a teenager, and I'm now 24. I explained this when I came in and expected the office to submit the necessary request to Medi-Cal. Instead, I waited weeks without hearing anything. When I finally called, I was told they couldn't find the request and apparently couldn't even find a history of my previous visits, despite me having already been there twice. The office then submitted a request for a different tooth than either of the two teeth I originally came in for. I never received a call or update about that request either. Two months later, I finally received the Medi-Cal denial letter myself. The letter showed that the request was for tooth #19 and that the crown and buildup were denied. Neither of the two teeth I originally went in for because of my missing crowns were addressed in the request. I also had three fillings done at this office, and that experience was extremely uncomfortable. They began working before I was completely numb. I told them I could still feel the procedure, so they numbed me again, but I could still feel it. Despite me communicating that, they continued with the work, and the procedure felt rushed. I completely understand that Medi-Cal may deny a requested procedure and that not every treatment is covered. My frustration is with the office's handling of my care: the lack of communication, inability to locate my request/previous visits, submitting a request for a different tooth, and failing to properly address the two teeth I originally came in for. Months later, I still have the same two missing crowns that I went to the office to have addressed in the first place. I would strongly recommend keeping track of your paperwork and following up yourself if this office submits anything to your insurance

(I'm 2wks post op and 90% healed) I had been trying to have that thing removed for about 5 yrs. It had been growing for 14 yrs. The 1st time I went to a Dentist, I didn't have $1500 for surgery. The 2nd time, the Dentist had different offices located throughout So Cal. On three separate occassions he left his biopsy materials in another office.But managed to do $3000 worth of dental work. While I was getting my exam they talked my husband into letting them check his teeth hence the $3000. The next time I tried another Dentist, she was Satan and I needed therapy when I left. That's all I'm going to say about that. My teeth were cleaned, I had a root canal (a very good Dentist did it because Satan referred me to him) I guess root canals were above her pay grade because she asked me how much I was charged for it. SO I go to ANOTHER Dentist. I was choosey this time. Female, nice, skilled etc. no worries. Not quite. First I had to schedule appts for "payment consultations" & the office was 40mi away. SO I gave up, until I had to find an after hrs Emergency Dentist who pulled two of my teeth (one I had the root canal on) that were by this time being pushed out by the cyst. She traumatized my mouth and the next month was NOT fun. SO, I find a Dentist 3blks from my home (at least it's close). He consults with me & refers me to Dr. Arcan that day. He said she was "the best". I agree. Aside from her Academic Credentials and skills set, she stitched my wound perfectly (and I was a nurse 10 yrs & have seen much stitch work) The only way to understand how good she and her nursing staff really are, is to go there and let them take care of you. I can't convey "peace of mind" and "relief" over the internet. lol AND My mouth is FREEEEEEE I'll be returning to Dr. Arcan whenever possible if I ever need an Oral Surgeon. OH and, I was given choices when it came to what Dental work I had done that day. Which decreased my bill by about $1000 You can trust Arcan.
