Great doctor for a "must" not fun procedure. He has a great bedside manner and all his staff was wonderful and professional.

This place is petty and racist. I went into the office, arrived to my appointment on time, and I'm…read morea previous patient. The girl at the front desk said she couldn't pronounce my last name, so I tried to help her, she dismissed me and got upset when I told her you can, I'll help you. She snickered in my face and then made me wait an hour, had 4 patients go ahead of me (by the way, I was the only patient when I arrived) , because she was upset. Only after I said something, they said I was next...the other front desk girl actually said, "oh I just put you down as next" and they still took another patient ahead of me, absurd. They acted as if I wasn't even in the waiting room. This is atrocious behavior from front office staff. The doctors should be made aware of this (not sure they even care). I voiced my opinion and asked for my records and said I don't want to be seen by anyone here. I asked for someone in charge to help the situation and they sent in just another office staff member, who did not identify herself as someone in charge or had the ability to resolve or care to resolve the issue, she just said to sign a document they'll mail my records and will refund me my money that I paid upfront (which I had to tell them to do, you think they'd ask, since they asked for the money ahead of time), and stated they would reverse my charge when billing department could. This person was definitely not in charge. I can't believe the doctors don't even care. If your staff isn't professional, then how can I trust the doctors that work there. When something clearly wrong is happening in your office to a patient because someone in the office is offended by their bad behavior towards the patient, just leaves a bad impression. If you go there be ready to kiss ass if your name isn't pronounceable by someone, and you try to correctly have it said, because you may be considered less of a human to be treated with dignity. I would stay way from this place. There are plenty of good doctors at other offices that would love to have my and your business and actually want to help with patients health. This was a better doctor's office before they merged with GANJ Inc., now it's just a money machine. They saw 6 patients in less than an hour (I saw them all walk out while I waited, a few that were actually sent in before me) , that's less than 10 mins a patient. How is that quality care? I'm pretty educated, a disabled U.S. Veteran with integrity, and am very upset they treated me like this? I did not appreciate and will not stand by idly and be mistreated because of some pettiness from crappy staff. Worse off is I have a serious health condition and they're supposed to help, not hurt me and they didn't even care to address the situation after I brought it up. So disappointed. Thank goodness I have a choice. Goodbye and good riddance. FYI: GANJ Inc. has 37 locations in NJ, I'd avoid them all.

As others have said, the phone system is a disaster. I called the company twice (because my…read morereferring doctor's software gave the company phone number, not the number for this specific location) without getting a return call. When I called the third time I got a "scheduler" who told me I would have to make two appointments. I asked why. She said she didn't know but I couldn't schedule the colonoscopy until after the office visit. No one at the office could tell me why I was there, either. When the doctor (Pinn) showed up he sat down, asked me twice in two minutes if I had had a colonoscopy before, and shoved a stapled packet of papers in my face. "Get this prescription and follow our instructions, NOT the instructions on the box." I was then led over to a scheduler to make my appointment for the procedure. Total duration of interaction, less than three minutes. Doctor asked only about whether I had a prior colonoscopy. Did not ask me if I had trouble with the prep. So why did he prescribe "new" prep for procedure--which costs $200 retail--instead of "old" prep, which as a generic is $50 retail? Bottom line: I wasted two hours of my time and a $20 copay to have a doctor ignore what I said, ask no questions, prescribe for no reason a medication costing 4x more than an equally effective one, and shove a packet of papers in my face. If this is the type of pre-procedure experience you want, by all means choose this practice.
