Dr Brindle is a superb surgeon. His work has drastically improved the quality of my life.read more

Unfortunately I was in an car accident in March of 2017 when my car was struck. After nearly an…read moreyear of frustration and horrific pain I was referred to Dr. Brindle. I am forever grateful for the recommendation I received from Dr. Stephen Hankins for Dr. Brindle. Parking can be difficult but thankfully they offer complimentary valet service. Dr. Brindle and his staff including his nurse practitioner Victoria Flower are wonderful. Dr. Brindle recommended that I have an laminectomy and microdisectomy due to the injury I sustained in which my L4-L5 disc was badly protruding and pressing on my nerve root. I was nervous because it required hospitalization. Dr. Brindle put me at ease. I was hospitalized one extra day for pain management and to ensure I could properly conquer the staircase at home. Appointments are easily made via phone. If you require surgery Dr. Brindle and his staff do an great job ensuring you have the proper follow up afterwards. The surgery I had was what has been the career killer for Tiger Woods and has plagued him. I went into things with the mindset this was an one shot deal because everyone I've encountered that's had multiple spine surgeries is miserable. I'm happy to say I'm doing great. I resumed walking right away and an week and an half post op I walked fifteen miles. I couldn't be happier and more thankful. I'm forever indebted to Dr. Brindle. I'm pain free and with the exception of some range of motion issues that may not improve I'm physically better than I have been in some time.

Then my son in law recommended Spine and Neurosurgery Associates. I did my research and opted to see Dr. Hamid Aliabadi. Dr. Aliabadi has an awesome bedside manner. He is very friendly and welcoming. He is very conservative when it comes to surgery. He listened to me very patiently and then agreed that I had tried everything and was a good candidate for surgery. He explained everything thoroughly in regards to the surgery and told me what to expect. He answered all my questions and my husbands questions. I feel 100% better since the surgery and am glad I did the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Aliabadi to anybody having back problems. His office staff is very nice and welcoming also. They were very helpful when it came to filling out the paperwork. Thank you Dr. Aliabadi for getting me back on my feet.

This is a mixed review. I give 5 stars to Dr, H. Aliabadi…read more But give 0 stars to staff. When I saw the doctor at his Auburn office, there were no staff present. Dr. Aliabadi greeted me and was very friendly. He answered all my questions and was very professional. He then was to have his staff send a referral for me to go to UCSF. Over a week past, so I called his office. The person that answered said another staff member had called and actually talked to me twice. I told her I never received the calls or talked to anyone nor did I receive any messages. I questioned her about not receiving the calls and that is when her voice elevated. At the end of the call, I told her she did not have to be so rude and she said it was me that was rude and hung up on me. I have been an RN for over 40 years. I have worked with patients and their families, never have I treated any of my patient in this manner. Nor would the facility I work for tolerate or allow such behavior. My recommendation is to go see the Dr. Aliabadi, he is awesome. However, he should send his staff to a class on how to be professional and treat patients with dignity. Or hire a professional staff that can. Dr. Aliabadi if you did this, your reviews would be a glowing 5 stars.
