Terrible Experience - Pain, Poor Work, and Refusal to Fix Their Mistakes…read more My experience with KA Dental has been nothing short of a nightmare. I underwent extensive dental work here -- multiple extractions, a root canal and crown, several fillings, and top and bottom partial dentures -- and nearly every procedure has resulted in ongoing problems. The tooth that had a root canal remains painful because the dentist failed to remove the entire root, leading to infection. Even after admitting the issue, KA Dental tried to make me pay again to correct their own mistake. Several fillings have already fallen out, and one tooth even broke due to another poor-quality filling. To make matters worse, I had multiple dentists work on my mouth -- some of whom no longer work for KA Dental -- which likely contributed to the inconsistency and lack of accountability. My top partial denture now has mold growing inside the plate, and the office has refused to remove it or repair it, despite it clearly being the result of poor workmanship. I went through all this treatment to be free of dental pain, yet I am still suffering and now have to pay another provider to fix everything. The lack of quality control, professionalism, and responsibility at this office is appalling. I strongly urge anyone considering KA Dental to look elsewhere. Protect your health, time, and money by finding a more competent and ethical dental practice.

It's been a few years since I have been in a Dental Office, I know what your thinking.... its ok! Walking in, I was greeted very warmly as I walked into the main waiting room. The staff were very nice and the front area was very clean and inviting! I have been to this location twice, having being seen early both times. They were very efficient in processing my paperwork and insurance information. My initial check up/x-rays was quick and easy! I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I spoke with both Dr. Alvarez and his assistant. Both were very accommodating and detailed. My second visit was for my cleaning. Can I just say that I have been to many offices and have had my teeth cleaned many times. This was without a doubt, the best experience I have ever had. He slammed the crown with a post in at an angle. Before I left the office I let them know the pain I was now in. They said he did this on purpose. Well this didn't keep the crown in because the pain I was in was because he cracked my root when he put it in with force at an angle.. Now my tooth and crown were destroyed. The tooth/root had to be removed. When now needing an implant while shopping around, his price was very high and not willing to accept any blame or lower his high price for an implant. I wasn't aware by not doing this right away would cause so much bone loss. I was never informed. Also, I paid for a partial bridge through him. From day one I had open sores, blisers/pain from this partial ordered through him. On the 4th visit to him with open sores from this partial ordered through his office I got told "I'm getting tired of this, this is your 4th visit for the same thing". This guy does not give a crap about you, only your money. Save it and go where they actually care. This practice caused me a lot more money and wasted money and thats not how it should be. PS It should be known that after I lost the front tooth due to his jamming the post/crown in crooked, I asked about a discount to get an implant and was denied any implant discount even though I would not have needed one if he hadn't forced my crown/post in sideways which ultimately cracked my root.

I came to fix my flared teeth and crossbite, but 10 months into treatment I was told my braces could come off even though my teeth are actually more flared then when I started and my crossbite was still present. (Compare my X-rays below to see my flare progress) When I requested my records for a second opinion, the office manager initially told me I could not have them until treatment was complete because they were "confidential," which is not true. The records I eventually received appeared incomplete and were missing documentation of IPR that was performed during treatment. I decided to stop treatment and requested all of my records on April 11, 2026. As of May 13, 2026, I still have not received everything. The office offered me $813 after I sign a release of liability, but they still have not provided a clear breakdown explaining how my refund was calculated. Very disappointing experience overall.

Long story short, I had to have a procedure done that required pain deadening. I can honestly tell all that everyone in this office was very friendly and professional. I then met Dr.Soares who realized my apparent nervous state who then very plainly said he was going to get rid of my pain and I should be all done very shortly... Which was exactly what happened. I've always hated the line that most Dentists say... "You may feel a slight prick' before they jab you with the first needle. Dr.Soares never said anything about needles or feeling any pain. He simply said I would be feeling some slight pressure. I was done before I knew it and most importantly, my pain was gone. Dr.Soares kept his word... I am admittedly weary of going to see a dentist which I believe may have something to do with past experiences when I served in our military... Also the haircuts weren't too great neither.
