We had pretty strict parameters: within budget, safe (a relative thing in Baltimore, I know...), a fixer-upper in an economically growing area, close to work, walkable to services, and with a bit of yard. Steve was patient and smart, listened to our concerns, tested our boundaries. He and I went to numerous houses all around Baltimore and we found THE house in an area we hadn't considered. Even closing (with all parties attending, including the seller's son) was entertaining. We've bought several houses and he's been amongst the best realtors we've dealt with.

I attribute it to the fact that they send a stager in to improve the presentation of your house, and they use a professional photographer when taking pictures that will be posted on Zillow, Redfin, etc. The entire marketing process was top notch. Buying a house went smoothly as well. We were able to close 45 days after having our offer accepted. Our agent was always able to get us in to view houses within 48 hours of our request. You can make viewing requests online and the agents are very good about contacting you via your preferred method (text, email, phone, etc.) In addition to all of this they provided a large moving truck, moving boxes, packing tape, and a housewarming party. They let us use the moving truck for not one, but two days. The housewarming party was not just cheese and crackers either; you could get crab dip, Greek skewers, wings, and a whole host of other good items. They sent us flowers shortly after we accepted them as our agent. When we bought our new house they gave us a customized cutting board as a housewarming gift. Finally, they throw a yearly party for all of their clients, which includes open bar and a free pie. You would think with all of these amenities that they charge large commission fees. Our commission fees were 5% which are right in line with all other realtors.

Dear Prospective Homeowners:…read more We are so pleased to be able to write this recommendation regarding our real estate agent, Shari Gaister. Shari is excellent at what she does !! She is very professional yet highly personable , thorough, reliable, and has such a good eye for picking out beautiful homes specific to you and your families needs. She had an initial meeting with us in her office and assured that our specific needs as well as things that were negotiable for us in a single family home were written down and laid out as well as our budgetary limitations. She walked us through all of the paperwork and provided so many professional resources for many things during our first home buying process which really helped make the process easy and smooth without any stress. Shari was very approachable during all phases of the home search/home buying experience and so easy to get in touch with via phone and email anytime we had requests or questions. She is highly talented , patient, hard working, and made this experience so enjoyable for our family. She showed us multiple homes each week (with our 1 year old- she was so patient and wonderful regarding our times to meet up around our babies schedule which was so helpful!!) , none of which were a waste of time as she made sure that they met our criteria and were within our price range. She was diligent with our requests and writing up offers. Shari did an amazing job with our contract negotiations and making the best deal for us!! We are so happy with the purchase of our first home thanks to her! I would definitely use her on the selling/purchasing of our home in the future and would highly recommend her to others.

We were feeling disillusioned with our options for rentals and due to a time constraint we almost signed a lease for a property we weren't completely in love with. With only a few weeks until our move, my husband found an apartment with Advanced Property Management and we immediately fell in love with the rental. From day one Mark, the property owner, was extremely professional and responsive whenever we encountered any issues in the apartment. Unlike previous landlords that we have had in the past that would do the work themselves in order to save money, Mark made sure to contact professionals to fix problems such as when the heating system needed to be fixed. Sadly due to another relocation, my husband and I had to move out of the rental we lived in for nearly 4 years. Otherwise we would have extended our stay even longer.
