He understood my budget was tight and worked with what we could do and made sure that we had exactly what we wanted and in our price range, without hurting his wallet or ours. When it came to our wedding day, my husband and I were married the Sunday right after Hurricane Matthew blew through North Carolina. Though the sun was shining on our day, the Saturday before was nothing but straight wind and rain and it left the ground conditions quite hard to deal with the next day. To be honest, I worried that it would be too much for a DJ because he had to set up all his equipment without getting anything damaged. Josh never once complained, he showed up early and got everything set up and worked with all of us. He knew we were stressed to get everything perfectly set up and went straight to figuring out the best set up for us. Out of all the vendors we worked with during our wedding, Josh was without a doubt my husbands favorite one to work with. I didn't have the pleasure of talking much with Josh on the actual wedding day but he's still a vendor my husband talks about. "Our DJ was an awesome guy." is what he still says to me and to anyone who asks about our wedding and/or it's planning. Also, Josh provided us with neat ideas of games we could play for our wedding and from that we went with the idea to do bride and groom trivia at our wedding to make for a fun game to play. Josh made it much more fun than we thought it would be and without a doubt it was one of guests most talked about part of our wedding. He listened to what we were looking for, made suggestions, and then he told us which options there were for accessories for the piano we chose. I couldn't be more satisfied with our new piano, and it is so wonderful to be able to practice music at home on a FULL size piano without driving to church, school, or some other location. We definitely plan to go back to Moore Music for all the music and accessories that they offer.

First off, that "Piano Clearance" sign has been up for months so take its message with a grain of salt. Secondly, the salesman here was dismissive, and had quite the air of pretension in the way he talked to me, which was probably because I am fairly young and did not come wearing a suit. Thirdly, I found his attitude even odder because Mitchell's Piano Gallery is NOT a high-end piano place with their focus being cheap overseas imports like Kawaii, Yamaha, Baldwin and Roland. I would save my time and go to Piedmont Music Center on Broad St who not only sells everything that's sold here (plus high end pianos like Steinways and Bosendorfers), but does so with a friendly attitude.
