Welcoming environment, clean, busy the day. I just wished they were open 24/7. The pool is deep and the gym is high quality.

First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this facility - I used to play here! Once or twice anyway. Our teams would rent this facility out just for a treat. It was expensive but it was where England trained and that made it very exciting for us. This is back when they were actually good, after the 1990 World Cup. And then later after Euro 96. Those were the days. It's been a long long long long time since I was at Bisham Abbey. I played here in a soccer tournament thingy with my Dad, what seems like decades ago. The facilities were some of the best I ever experienced. It was (then) where England used to practice. I'm talking about the England national soccer (footy) team of course. I have no idea if they still do, but it's a good memory, nevertheless. I'm not sure how the facilities compare to the newer places which I have never been to.

So Bisham Abbey is one of the original national sport centres. It is set in picturesque town of…read moreMarlow just off the M4. The venue is home to many of GB sports governing bodies, Hockey, Judo EIS and so the list goes on. They have a good range of sporting facilities on site including football and hockey pitches, squash courts, tennis courts and state of the art gym facilities. You get many international athletes on site both able bodied and disabled, so there is a great mix of people from all sporting disciplines. The facilities are open to the general public, but I think you have to sign up and become a member to use them. They have on site hotel facilities, which puts some hotels to shame!! Not only can you participate in many sporting activities as the name suggests there is more to the place than just a sporting venue. The old Abbey is available for hire for weddings and business events. The rumour is that the great hall is actually haunted... I would have given it 4 stars but the wifi was very poor and in the day and age we live in that it was poor

Providing an amazing place to relax and work out. It has a full range of Pilates offering group and private lessons. It does not have a locker/ shower room facility, but at least it provides a bathroom and changing area. Everything is done to a nice finish, love working out in here. It is my favourite pilates studio so far!

All the equipment is top of the line, brand new and they have equipment that most studios don't even have in the world! Really up to date, ahead of the industry. Impressive. All the instructors were so welcoming and very professional. I had so much fun, not realizing I was burning, burning, burning!!! Their energy levels are high, but very calming. Each instructor is extremely passionate about Pilates and it shows through the work. The sessions were very informative and I felt as if I learned a lot about NOT ONLY my body movement, but ways to improve my health through Pilates. I can't believe it took me going across the pond to find a studio where I really felt comfortable to try it and discovered a great and healthy form of movement. I look forward to each time I get to go back to this studio. I wish they would open on stateside! Thanks, bePilates!
