I cancelled my direct debit, just as it states on their terms and conditions that to cancel, just cancel direct debit. My partners and my membership payment is coming out of the same account and because I cancelled my membership they took more out of my partners card. I emailed them complaining about this they told me to ignore the emails and nothing will be debited, they told me not to worry about it and then I got emails again and I ignore this only to find out the account has been debited £38.99 althought they said will only debit £18.99 for one membership account. Absolutely liars! I emailed them and they said cannot do anything about it. THIEVES DO NOT BECOME A MEMBERSHIP WITH PUREGYM, MY PARTNER WILL BE CANCELLING. ALSO GETTING RUDE EMAILS BACK FROM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL. RUBBISH SERVICE DO NOT JOIN! DO NOT JOIN! I would recommend this gym to anyone, the equipment is very good and the place is always clean…read more I've used most of the gyms in Leicester but the gym is the only one that suits all of my needs especially being open 24 hrs a day which is ideal because of the hours I work. My only gripe is that some members seem to have a problem understanding gym rules ie returning dumbells to there correct places, and using sweat towels, this should be monitored and enforced a lot more than it is to ensure all members are able to enjoy their workouts completely.

There is no reception desk and the pathetically small free weights section is inadequate at all times of the day. There is also hardly any equipment barring the machines. The coup de grais as far as I am concerned is the fact you cannot view the place prior to joining. It is sneaky and wrong. Avoid at all costs!
