When my mom was expecting to sell her home in Edison during the end of lockdown, we spent…read moreconsiderable time researching realtors, checking reviews and better business history, and had three come meet with our family and check out the house. At the time, Raymond was the clear winner for us. He was informed about the area and market, was thorough in his run-thru of the house, had a few options to offer us in terms of direction and was ready for referrals if we chose to do some work before putting it on the market. Plus was the first to reply and very quick with responses to questions later. If we'd opted to reno before the sale, he was able to offer hands-on construction management, so we could have passed that off to him, if we'd wanted. In the end, illness derailed mom's plans and she needed to remain in the home. But Raymond's patience through the process and his follow-up -- including a recent check-in, was very professional and appreciated. On that basis, the family feels confident in recommending him to others.

What actually was written in the response I received 5 months ago was:…read more Hi Heike, I realize that your review is from quite some time ago, however we don't do much interaction on yelp so unfortunately it went unnoticed by us. I have directly asked all of our existing agents (36 in total) if they dealt with you or your significant other during your apartment search back in 2012 and nobody has any recollection of working with you or receiving a message from you, etc. I am thinking you may have dealt with an agent that no longer works with us for whatever reason or maybe left a message with someone we had temporarily filling in during summer hours. By chance, do you remember who you may have spoken with? I know this is from a long time ago, but I would like to get to the bottom of this. We take great pride in helping people sell, buy and rent and we truly hate that you had such a bad experience with us. Thanks, Janine I didn't respond at the time, not being sure of the name of the person with whom I interacted and deciding that it's actually not my job to investigate. The above is pretty different from telling me that you do not believe I ever interacted with your company. I insist that it was, in fact your company, and reject your claim that I am mistaken in my identification of the issue. If the person with whom my now-husband and I interacted was the owner at that time, then so be it. My husband and I were treated in the aforementioned manner by a male representative of this company, and I wanted to let renters looking for apartments to know that this company was less than interested in helping us. It appears that you have since that time garnered some very positive reviews, and I am glad for that. However, my experience and my opinion still stand.

There's literally NOBODY ELSE saying the agents here are rude!) Remax Centre helped me with our first home purchase, and everyone I dealt with was incredible - as a first time home buyer I didn't know anything about the entire process. Our agent was incredibly patient and explained all the details, the mortgage broker that they recommended to us was incredibly helpful, and the process of finding and visiting homes - while daunting - was as painless as it could possibly be! They were extremely accommodating with my constantly changing work schedule - and when all was said and done even the closing process was easy! The owner, Barry Angely (absolutely awesome guy!!) even stopped in to see how everything was going and to make sure we were happy across the board before signing the bottom line! We will be investing in some rental properties soon - and will DEFINITELY be using Remax Centre again!!
