Dr. Botsko is amazing and a perfectionist. He build my partial piece by piece. He didn't just take the mold and send them off to the lab and then you go through all this pain trying to get them to work. It was a pain-free process. I'm fiberglassed by the fact I can eat corn on the cob, apples, ice and so much more. I don't even feel like I have a partial in my mouth. The atmosphere is a non-judgmental friendly and caring. If you have anxieties about getting dental work he is the doctor to go to. I got a tooth pulled. There was absolutely no pain. Not even from the injection spots from the Novocaine when it wore off. On a very personal note, my first appointment with him I had an emotional breakdown. I still got my dental work done and I walked out with a smile and dry eyes. For me he was a blessing in so many ways. His office is not chaotic. It's very peaceful and calm and therefore it feels very private. I have been to many dentists during my childhood and adulthood. None have been as professional or as thorough as Dr. David Botsko. He works very hard to give you the best and his work is outstanding. He and his office staff make you comfortable and his price is reasonable. He has made me two sets of dentures over the years I have known him, and the quality and fit are both outstanding. Dr Botsko has been amazing. I broke my denture on a Friday morning and could not get in to my regular dentist to get it fixed. He stayed after hours to complete the repair and explained why it kept breaking. He then made me a new set of dentures for half the cost. He is meticulous and knowledgeable and very professional. I was visiting Davenport from Sun Prairie, WI and had an emergency. I called his office @ 8pm Thursday evening, and after Dr. Botsko ascertained I was stable through the night, met me at his office Friday morning (his day off) @ 9am. Upon hearing that I did not have dental insurance, he replied, "don't worry, we will work it out." WOW!! He took a look at the tooth, and then took 2 x-rays to determine the problem. I had an infection that required immediate care which he provided. When it came time to settle up, I was shocked at how little I was charged in comparison to the amount of work that was done. I only wish I lived closer so he could be my dentist all the time!!!!!! read more

I recently broke one of my front teeth and was seriously concerned about how something like this could even be fixed but during my appointment Dr. Botsko was able to drill a tiny hole and insert a small post into the remaining part of the tooth and from that he attached a prosthetic tooth which was matched 100% perfect to the color of my natural teeth, there is no way to tell this is not my original tooth, it was even positioned the exact same way. I was in town from Houston TX for a funeral and on the train I started to have a major tooth ache. By the time I arrived in Davenport its was unbearable. I found Dr. Botsko in the phone book offering emergency services. I had called a couple of other dentist and was looking at a three day turn around. Dr. Botsko's staff were so welcoming and cleared the schedule to help me with a root canal and major filling the very next day. I notoriously dread going to the dentist but Dr. B made the procedure painless. I would highly recommend Dr. Botsko and his staff to anyone looking for a qualified and patient dentist. Dr Botsko made my and my wife's dentures 14 years ago. Finally we were ready for a rebuild or replace. First my wife tried A span dental, 3 months of fighting bad teeth later she returned them. Next another dentist said he could do nothing with her, nothing to work with. Finally after realizing he took united Concordia insurance, we went back to Dr Botsko, nothing to it 1 day perfect fit teeth. My turn required new Dentures, after his efforts for nothing less then perfect I have new Dentures that fit perfect immediately. This place is very unprofessional. It took 45 minutes to be called to the back, then sat for 10min. with a bib on before the Dr. came. He seemed very confused, The work he did do was very good. His nurse on the other hand, very unprofessional. Did not say one word to me. The whole time I was being suctioned, she had her head leaning on her other hand. She seemed to have an attitude about something because she was throwing instruments around. The receptionist is very old and slow. The place is not very modern. I would not recommend this place to anyone who looks for good customer service. read more

I've been going to David for my teeth care in years (10+) and never see another dentist. He always does good job on my teeth and provides clear explanations on matters. Easy to schedule and time waiting is acceptable. It is a small office but that at least makes feel personal. Very pleased with Dr. Botsko's work and professionalism. Took my dad in to repair his partial denture that had broken. Within a week he had new partials that actually fit better than his old ones.
