I have been with State Farm for 35 years. Recently we made a claim based on wind damage. the claim want unaddressed for 15 days. I called the office and they told me to call State Farm. pretty sure I was calling State Farm. the staff lectured me on the entire process and I found them void of compassion and they did nothing to assist. this office will do nothing to help you. I'm not sure why they are there. recommend State Farm overall but this agent and the staff don't care about customers. read more

I have no complaints against David Korede, only State Farm itself. I have had this insurance car/home for 5 years. For the past 3, maybe more, every 6 months I get an increase, one time car, one time home. The most recent brought my overall insurance rate from 154/month to 166/month, a $12.00 increase! I wish there was a way to give negative stars on here based on how terrible this agent is. This is the only agent my wife has ever known for 2years and seemingly so he appears to not give a single d*m about his customers. He is the perfect definition of a misogynist. Ignored my wife's phone calls for a couple of weeks, no return phone calls or emails at that. His secretary is no better stating "he's never in the office" but when I get on the phone and demand someone get on the phone he magically appears. Promises weren't kept and insurance premium kept going up and when all my wife wanted was an explanation or maybe a way to be eligible for discounts David replied are discounts important or dealing with real issues like people in accidents. I let him know customers weren't an interruption but the purpose of his job. David's next response was great do me the favor and find another agent. Music to my ears with such a lack of professionalism & courtesy I don't understand how anyone can stay with him as long as my wife did. State Farm is the home of the discount double check and stellar service. To anyone who reads this know that I'm not the one bad apple I'm just trying to educate everyone who prefers to be treated with dignity and respect. read more

We created an auto and renters insurance quote on October 13, 2015. The auto insurance policy was created but the renters insurance was not. This was due to another person who used to live in our new apartment building had reported a break-in. I haven't even mentioned that they listed this previous tenants report on OUR history therefore showing negatively on us, not the other tenant. We have no idea who this person was, and State Farm never contacted us to confirm this information, not from an agent, not from underwriting, no one. One month later we receive a bill from our previous insurance carrier asking for a payment because it was late. This is how we found out they never created our renters policy. State Farm stated they would cancel our other policies back in October 13.THIS WAS NEVER DONE, it is now November 20 and nothing has been resolved. This person was very rude regarding apologizing for the incident. We called twice before our phone call with Mr Korede today and we were promised twice that an agent would call us back. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. Customer service is terrible. We cancelled our request for renters insurance and are in the process of searching for a new carrier for our auto as well. RUN AWAY!!! read more
