Then I found Dr. Margie Amos. I left my appointment feeling like I could cry again, but this time they were tears of happiness. I finally had answers and was met with a doctor who was patient, attentive, and never rushed me. She wasn't bothered by my anxiety or my long list of questions. She was thorough, educational, and incredibly kind. I am so grateful I found her and that she took the time to truly get to the bottom of what was going on. She ordered tests that no one else had considered and looked at everything from multiple perspectives. She provided several options for next steps, clearly explained each one, and helped create a game plan we both feel confident about. I truly cannot say enough good things about this doctor.

I arranged my entire life around it, took an extended leave from work, made arrangements for my recovery, and showed up at the hospital on the morning of my scheduled surgery prepared to have the procedure. **The hospital had no record of my surgery.** I was left standing there on the morning of surgery trying to figure out what had happened. I was later told that the person responsible for scheduling at my doctor's office had sent the request to the hospital, but the hospital says they never received it. Apparently, no one from the office ever followed up to confirm that an operating room had actually been reserved. Because of that failure, my surgery did not happen. They then attempted to reschedule me for the following Monday. At that point, the hospital/anesthesiology team required additional medical testing before proceeding. I completely understood the need for the testing and immediately did everything that was asked of me. I have now completed the required testing and have repeatedly called and begged this office to tell me what is happening and get my surgery back on the schedule. **They have essentially stopped responding to me.** The most unbelievable part is that I finally had to get **my insurance company involved just to find out what was happening.** My insurance company contacted the practice and then informed me that the person responsible for scheduling my surgery had gone on vacation and would not return until the 20th. No one from the practice bothered to tell me this. Apparently, after their original scheduling error caused me to show up at a hospital for a surgery that wasn't actually on the hospital's schedule, my case was simply allowed to sit while the person handling it went on vacation--with seemingly no one else taking responsibility for getting my surgery scheduled. I have been calling. I have been leaving messages. I have explained repeatedly that I am already off work and losing income. I have pleaded for someone to call me back. At this point, I don't even have enough time left in my leave to reasonably schedule the surgery and recover before I am supposed to return to work. This isn't a missed haircut or a dinner reservation. **This is surgery.** Patients arrange their jobs, finances, transportation, family support, recovery care, and their entire lives around a surgical date. There is absolutely no excuse for a medical practice to allow a patient to arrive at a hospital for surgery without confirming that the surgery was actually scheduled--and then, after causing that disruption, fail to communicate with the patient while the situation becomes progressively worse. What has been most upsetting is not simply that a mistake happened. People make mistakes. It is the **complete lack of urgency, accountability, communication, and effort to fix the mistake afterward.** I trusted this practice with my medical care. Instead, I have been left chasing them for answers while losing income and watching the window I set aside for a medically necessary procedure disappear. I am posting this because prospective patients deserve to know how this office handled my surgical care when something went wrong. I am still waiting for someone from this practice to take responsibility, call me, and tell me how they intend to get my surgery scheduled.

I was seen a little over a month ago, but unfortunately, the issue has not subsided. I have been a patient at this practice for over 15 years and have never had an issue getting scheduled until now. I asked for the next available Wednesday appointment and was told I couldn't be seen until September. While frustrating, I understood and then simply asked if there was a cancellation list. Phyllis responded by telling me there were 130 people on the list and that I would be at the bottom. That wasn't really what I asked, and the way the conversation was handled from there was incredibly disappointing. Phyllis proceeded to speak over me while telling me she was "being direct." There is a difference between being direct and being dismissive or rude to a longtime patient who is simply trying to schedule an appointment for an ongoing concern. I have been coming to this practice for over 15 years and have always had a positive experience, which makes this especially upsetting. As the practice has grown, it unfortunately feels as though the level of care and consideration for longtime OB-GYN patients has changed. I have really liked Suzanne and have trusted her with my care for many years, but after the way I was treated today, I will not be returning to this practice. The interaction I had with the front desk was completely unprofessional and a very disappointing way to lose a longtime patient

First I'll start by saying the office can be a bit tricky to find. You need to enter the hospital entrance off the main road and you can get to the building which is well marked with large numbers on the side. Everyone at the office was steller in professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness. They made me feel comfortable and at ease from my very first consult. I have to say I wasn't completely comfortable at first with Dr. James' manner, but I quickly realized that he is an empathetic, caring, kind, attentive, and focused doctor with a sense of humor. This is the doctor you want in your corner.

I arrived open-minded and hopeful, but after my experiences here, I've decided to seek care elsewhere. I've experienced two pregnancy losses while under the care of this practice, and during an already difficult time, the care I received often felt more one-size-fits-all than individualized. I recognize that this may be influenced by the volume of patients or broader systems within pregnancy care, but for me, it meant that I didn't always feel truly seen or held as an individual with a unqiue history. The midwife I worked with was kind, but on more than one occasion she appeared unfamiliar with important details of my medical history. After experiencing my first pregnancy loss with her, it was difficult to return just three months later and realize she had not reviewed my chart before coming in to discuss my second loss. In that moment, the lack of preparation felt especially painful. Scheduling appointments was also challenging, and after my second loss I waited an additional 45 minutes to see a doctor, which added to an already emotionally difficult experience. After my second pregnancy loss, I was not offered guidance around possible testing, follow-up options, or next steps unless I explicitly asked. Additionally, after an ultrasound confirmed a pregnancy loss, I was told the earliest available appointment for the necessary procedure was six days later, which felt unreasonable and I was forced to complete the procedure at an entirely different practice. I don't share this to place blame, but rather to help others make an informed decision. If you are someone seeking highly personalized, proactive care, especially after loss or if your pregnancy journey may not be straightforward, this may not be the best fit. For those with uncomplicated pregnancies who are comfortable with a more standardized approach, this practice may work well.

This review is only about their billing practices, or lack thereof…read more This hospital has the worst billing of any hospital hands down. My wife needed PT, and they say they billed correctly to our insurance, but they billed it as workers comp when it wasn't. They continued to contact us about a bill we never received, that they say we owe from sometime in 2025, but I cannot match to an EOB from the insurance company. We have tried for over a year to get them to correct their bill, and they would always say they would review it. They never review it, the people we talk to simply believe what is on the computer, because everyone knows the internet is 100% true because it is on a computer. I simply want to know what they are billing us for. we ask for date of service and get 8/1/25 - 8/31/25 with one price, then we ask for clarification, and tell them we hit our OOP max prior to 8/1/25 and we get another date of service of 4/1/25 - 4/31/25 with an adjusted price. I ask if there is more than one bill and they state there is only one bill, so I do not know if they are balance billing (illegal) or trying to bill us for additional services never rendered because we have not seen a bill, and they do not share a copy of the original bill. They continue to move the date of service around, adjust the price by a few dollars and nothing can be matched up to an EOB from my insurance company. Such seedy tactics over $308, or $388, they just need to share information with us to get this squared away.

Yes-- they are some services they don't provide, and I'm not sure why that's not 100% disclosed on their site.
