Why didn't any of them think about the fact that I had a literal newborn at home? I was abandoned by my husband because this clinic failed to diagnose and treat me appropriately. I will not ever recommend. As far as office experience, I don't remember much after the first visit, because they had me doped up on Latuda, multiple different doses throughout the experience.

The doctors and staff are all always friendly to both myself and my minor child who is the patient…read more The doctors don't feel like they push you into anything or like they are telling you that you must accept the care they suggest, but they ask for your input in your care. I'd give the office 5 stars BUT: I do have one big issue with the office. They are absolutely TERRIBLE about time management. It's incredibly frustrating. We currently see Dr. Green virtually due to COVID, which I don't mind at all, however, you log in for your appointment and will wait a minimum of 30 minutes to be greeted and checked in. That's a minimum (I think only 1 time has it been that short), typically you're looking at about 50+ minutes... just waiting to be checked in! Once you're checked in you're probably going to wait another 15 minutes until the doctor joins. I had family visiting and we planned to go to the Battleship N.C. in Wilmington. I had my mom drive because I needed to log in on my phone for an appointment (typically we are home on a computer). We drove all the way from Jacksonville to the parking lot of the battleship before we were greeted to check in... an hour and 14 minutes! Just to be checked in. My family boarded the ship and it took me another 25 minutes before I could join them and only about 4 of that was spent speaking with the doctor and about 2 minutes to schedule the next appoint. Yesterday, I needed to pick up a form to give to my child's school. You must call from the parking lot once you arrive, (I had called ahead to verify the form was ready to be picked up). I get to the parking lot and call. It put me directly in the hold cue and after 10 minutes I hung up and called right back. Another 9 minutes and 33 seconds in the hold cue and I'm about ready to go knock on the front door when an employee comes out to give something to another car that had been waiting since before I arrived. After finishing with that car, the employ asked if anyone had helped us yet and I politely said no and let them know what we were there for. She said she would go grab the form and return with the release that I needed to sign.... that took 15 minutes. She didn't wait for me to complete the release form, she said she'd be back for it.... that took another 10 minutes. So just to grab a form (also you have to pay a "forms fee" which wasn't required last year) it took 45minutes! It's insanely frustrating and inconsiderate. I understand that staffing at many locations has changed due to COVID and I'm a very patient person, but this is ridiculous. We've been seen at this office for maybe about 6-7 months and it has been like this EVERY time except once! So, while I love the doctors (we've seen both Dr. Greene and Ahlberg) and I think the staff is all friendly, I'm really fed up with the office being no where near punctual. I fully understand that some appointments may run unexpectedly over the allotted time, that things happen but this is a regular occurrence. (I'd give them more stars if this was just an occasional thing but it's every dang time.) It would be greatly appreciated if they found a way to fix this, whether it's staffing or scheduling changes, I don't know, but it's really inconsiderate. I respect your time, I expect the same. I've also gone to pick up a prescription only to find out their office never sent it to the pharmacy (thankfully that has only happened once).

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!…read more I'm a mom to a son who deal with mental health issues. I'm reaching out if nothing more to explain his story! Maybe one day it can help another family. My son is currently 13 years old, we live in Jacksonville, NC where he is seen by a phycologist. He's been seeing Dr. Davis for over a year at IFS. Let me explain. My son has tried to commit suicide, in which he ended up being hospitalized for almost two weeks (Twice). He's currently on a good amount of medication. After his discharge I called his Phy doctor and informed them of the situation and told them that not only did the hospital say but also his insurance that he needed to be seen within 10 days of his discharge. I called the office and they told me they had no openings till Nov. he was released out of the hospital in August. This should not be acceptable. How do you not have a separate schedule for kids that come out of these facilities that need to be seen in a timely manner. Clearly the fact that they needed to be hospitalized means they need urgent care. I took the appointment and I takes me all the way to 10/14 (today) he has 2 days left Of medication so I called his Phy doctor (Dr. DAVIS) and explained that he needed a refill till he is able to see her. Her nurse (Sherry) called me and said "I'm sorry we don't have any openings, he can be added to the "cancellation list" HOW IN THE HELL IS THIER A KID WITH SUICIDAL IDEATIONS AND THATS WHAT I GET. Like my son isn't important. How can they say NO! That he needs to be seen. My son is on heavy medications, that requires for him not to go without. NO ONE AT THE DAMN OFFICE CARED!!!!!! I MEAN NO ONE! The front desk told me she had no openings that they can add him to a "cancellation list" how is this ok for a 13 year old who has tried to commit suicide?! I drove to the hospital where he was hospitalized and they said they couldn't give him any medication. I drove to the pharmacy to see if they could give him an emergency refill. They said they couldn't. I called his primary, got the same. At this point Im crying my eyes out because if my son harms himself all these people in the mental health Field that are here to help our children are letting him basically drown. I'm his mother I'm the one that deals with the pain, while that damn office didn't care about him at all. If I lose my son everyone in that office with show up to work tomorrow and act like he never mattered. And it would have been all to the fact that the doctor had no availability on her schedule for a kid that needed her! I called the news about this! I will stand up for my son and if nothing else they will remember his as well. I will take it as far as I can. As a mother I will go to the ends of the earth to protect him from everyone including that damn office. I will blow this up , this can't keep happening. Let me give you all a few words one I explained to my son about his medication. This is coming from a 13y old. His exact words were "great right when I feel normal and like myself they stop trying to help me" READ THAT AGAIN! My son is a human, he's a person, he's not just another kid. The feeling as a mother that basically my son is just another number in the mental health system and that no one was truly concerned what could possibly happen to him coming off these medications makes me lose hope that humans are out to just make a pay check and sleep good at night. This needs to be heard! This is not okay. Children are dying everyday due to mental health issues and I will not allow for this field to treat my son like just another issue, problem, case.
