My son's weekly regular therapist recommended the clinic. He gave me the number and when I called I…read morespoke to Conner. Conner was lovely and helpful. He set up a virtual video interview, of sorts, with Ash to make sure the program would be a good fit for my son. My son is an adult with Autism. Ash and Conner were both on the virtual call. Ash spoke to and asked my son questions for approximately 45 minutes. He excused my son from the call and spoke to me for about 10 minutes. He said my son did great and would be just fine in the program and a great fit. Because of my son's Autism, Ash wanted to make sure my son would be able to engage, actively participate, and have the emotional and intellectual ability to participate. We were thrilled that this program would be able to help him and that he was a good fit. I changed three people's schedules in order to accommodate the M-F IOP schedule for 12-17 weeks. If you are familiar with Autism, you know that change is not something they are easily flexible with. It took a lot of explaining and hyping up the program for him to be open to it. When he found out the Ash said he'd be a great fit, and my son was SO HAPPY that he finally found a place that could help him, "not worry all of the time." We started on Monday, August 10th in the Riverton location. My son got in the car after his first day and said, "Mom! I'm not alone, other people worry like me." He also showed me a note card that the therapists asked everyone to write the ultimate goal for the program on. My son wrote, "that my OCD would go away and never come back." I called our extended family and let them know how wonderful it went and how invested my son was. We were SO HAPPY. On Tuesday, August 11th, Ash called me to discuss treatment (his voicemail). I called him back and he said they were going to discharge my son from the treatment. ONE DAY. He attended ONE DAY. I asked him did something happen or what the reason was. He said the therapists notes said my son was, "Unable to identify the root cause of his worry." ON THE FIRST DAY. I asked him how ANYONE would be able to do that on their first day and wasn't that what the program was supporsed to helpf their clients with. He said that was a very good question but did not elaborate. He also said the notes said that my son needed more support than the group could provide. I reminded Ash that he interviewed my son and said he would be a great fit and reiterated that HOW could anyone dealing with OCD be able to identify it's root cause in their orienation session? They wouldn't need to go the center if they could do that. The program is 12-17 weeks so how do they expect someone to do that on the first day. The amount of planning, rearranging, and energy it took to make space for my son to attend this program was massive. I am also a single mom and had to postpone another one of my non-driving children's enrollment for SLCC so I could make space to take my son to their program. If I could give this facility less than one star I would. I feel strongly that my son was discriminated against becasue of his disability. There is nothing I can do, but I want others to know what happened to my son and to my family. I had to lie (chose to) to my son and tell him I removed him because I found a better place, but I haven't. I was heartbroken for him because he felt included, accepted, and Ash said he did great and would be great for the group. He finally found others who "worry" like him and he so badly wanted help. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Dismissive and discriminatory. An absolute disservice to the community to treat people the way they treated my son.

I've been a patient at Integrated Wellness in South Jordan and in Bountiful collectively for almost…read more10 years. While I don't disagree with the other reviews about a sales aspect of some of the programs offered here, I have benefitted tremendously from a consistent program to address my concerns. A couple of experiences have made me a loyal patient. A few years ago I suddenly had excruciating low back and leg pain + numbness after a normal day of skiing. I was incapacitated, unable to walk, sit, stand, or lay flat to find pain relief. This went off and on for months. My orthopedist only offered gabapentin for nerve pain, but it treated the symptom, not the problem. After visiting the ER in the middle of the night with nothing to show for it but a $500 charge and a few pills for pain, I committed to a program of adjustments and physical therapy three days a week for several months at Integrated Wellness. This helped me rehabilitate and improve my strength in areas that were overcompensating and causing nerve pain. I also purchased a life changing Theragun and TENS unit. These weren't gimmicks. They saved me. Now I tell everyone I know to get these items for chronic pain and have purchased several for gifts. And I use them regularly. If you're active and want to remain so as you age, these are must-haves. Another experience just occured a few days ago. I woke up with vertigo causing extreme dizziness. Anybody sensitive to motion knows how miserable this is. I called Integrated Wellness on a Friday. They worked to get me in with Dr. Pyne for a chiropractic adjustment and Dr. Becky for some physical therapy before closing at noon. Dr. Pyne gives a fantastic adjusment and has saved me from misery more times than i can remember, and this time was no exception. Then, Dr. Becky took me through a treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo which occurs as a result of displaced otoconia, which are small crystals of calcium carbonate, that have detached from the inner ear and collect in the semicircular canals of the year. The treatment included a series of head movements that shift these particles back to the inner ears, alleviating the severe sensation of motion. Shockingly, the effect was immediate. Vertigo was gone. My weekend would proceed as planned. Honorable mention to PTA John who kept me laughing through the yacking. I was even offered a shot for nausea afterward to help with any lingering effects. Additionally, Dr. Becky walked me through a series of protocols that I can practice to build better tolerance to motion with the goal of enjoying some of my favorite activities without getting sick, every.single.time. I am constantly recommending Integrated Wellness to everyone who complains of pain. Go in with a clear objective and make decisions with your health care provider there. Be clear on what your insurance will cover and what you're willing or able to invest. To me, long term mobility and high quality of life are everything, and I'm lucky to have this exceptional resource right here in Bountiful. Bonus- Integrated Wellness has a massage therapy studio upstairs with some of the best therapists anywhere. They are well studied in the field of anatomy and physiology, and go beyond a basic feel good massage. And the prices are ridiculously reasonable.
