The moment you step into his store you are family. My brother always will direct you to the best decision for your money and even is interested in and will give you his personal advice with any home project you are working on, as if he were doing it himself. (yes he has completed many home projects!) The only way I can express how he does business is to say his handshake is worth his signature --just like the old days when you can take someone for his word and not question it. The selection of the usual items is off the chart, thn you add in clothing, groceries, furniture, and who knows what else and its a pretty epic experience. Now I'm probably not buying my underwear or a recliner here but I guess it's good to know that I could??? And apparently enough people must. (Impulse purchase when picking up some garden shears or a can of paint i guess?) Anyway, if you've never been . . . . go. And if you have been . . . . go again.

I've been taking my chainsaw chains to Ace for a couple years now for sharpening. Every time I've…read morebeen told 'we have the guy in Battle Creek sharpen them, so it'll be a week or so before we get them back". This last time, I asked if they still had the guy in Battle Creek sharpening them and was told "we never send them out, we sharpen them here at the store". The kid at the front counter also didn't want me talking to the guy at the back counter because 'he is busy'. I put my name, phone number, and how many chains I was dropping off on a tag and the kid wrapped the tag around the chains. After about 3 weeks I finally called to see what was going on, yup, my chains were done. No one EVER calls back. I'll be taking my chains to Bomgaars for sharpening from now one. This whole town sucks. Ace just adds to the pile of crap that this town consists of.
