My driver side headlight kept flickering off whenever its on and i would have to keep switching them on which is dangerous driving at night and also illegal driving with only 1 headlight! was recommended by Dave and Mike the shop owner to buy the part off Amazon and have them install them. They gave me recommendations on what headlight to get. Luckily i found a pack of 2 bulbs for cheap. This was on Thursday. Since I have Amazon Prime. Got the part the next day, Friday and brought the car in, Saturday morning to install. Took a few hours but got done. They also mentioned to me that if it goes out again, definitely something else, there are other components to the headlight but did notice the flickering stopped after install so the bulbs only could be the fix, let's hope. Well.....so far so good! Lights come on and I also notice they're brighter too! After a few days driving at night, no issues! Highly recommend this place! Thankyou Mike and Dave for ur work and honesty of what needed to be done. Honest work, nothing shady! Labor cost was fair for the quality and time put in to replace the bulbs which I knew wasn't gonna be an easy fix seeing it's a chevy bolt and the front bumper would had to be removed.

The quote we received was $580 to replace the upper radiator hose. For reference: The part itself retails around $49. The labor guide (verified in our own automotive software) shows 0.6 labor hours for this repair. Even at a $180/hour labor rate, this would equal approximately $108 in labor. Another local repair shop completed the same repair the same day for $200 total. We were told the system showed 2.6 labor hours, which does not align with standard labor time for replacing an upper radiator hose. As a rental company, we rely on fair and transparent pricing. This experience was disappointing and caused unnecessary stress for our customer, who had to drive an overheating vehicle to another shop. I encourage customers to verify labor times and obtain a second opinion before approving repairs.

Not only did it take them 3 attempts to finally reaper the oil pan they also over filled my engine oil by 2 and half quarts and the e fine mounts had to be replaced "again" cause it was quite obvious they never changed in the first place but charged me for it. Now my entire front suspension is compromised either due to them tampering or just the fact they had to drop my front suspension 3 times. Also their main tech isn't ASE certified and is just a "helper " AVOID THIS CHOP SHOP !!

Critical Review of Allstar Auto:…read more I took my car to Allstar Auto because I couldn't clear a persistent P2078 code, despite having replaced all the relevant sensors and components related to the intake system (throttle body, air filter, hoses). Initially, I replaced the MAP sensor to see if that was the issue. When I realized it wasn't, I removed the replacement and reinstalled the original sensor. Unfortunately, while doing so, I over-tightened the bolt, causing it to snap and leaving it stuck in the intake manifold. At this point, frustrated and believing that this job was best left to a professional, I searched Yelp for a reputable mechanic and found Allstar Auto. When I brought my car in, it was hesitating during acceleration but still running. The shop diagnosed the problem as an issue with the intake manifold and replaced it--charging me, of course. However, this did not resolve the issue. The check engine light came back on almost immediately after I drove the car home, displaying the same P2078 code. I called the shop and they advised me to change the MAP sensor and that should fix the issue. I changed it but it did not correct the issue. Due to a work trip, I wasn't able to drive my car for about a month. When I finally did, it was making a terrible noise, and displaying the same P2078 code. I brought it back to Allstar Auto, and they identified the real issue as the timing chain, which they then fixed. I was charged yet again. In summary, I'm extremely disappointed with the service at Allstar Auto. As a DIYer, I might have expected the intake manifold to be the problem, but I trusted the expertise of trained mechanics to correctly diagnose and fix the issue the first time. I expected a thorough diagnostic process, not just a quick fix that didn't address the root cause. Instead, I was charged for unnecessary work, only to end up with the same problem and an even bigger issue later on. This experience has shaken my trust in the shop, and I would caution others to consider their options carefully before taking their vehicle here.

After speaking with Alex, he quoted me $350, which was a much more reasonable price, so I went over to have him check it out. Turns out, the dealership lied! My brakes didn't need to be changed for another 4-6 months! I really appreciate how nice and honest he was about the entire process. Will definitely be coming back, I highly recommend!

I've never had any issues with any of my classic cars he's worked on and believe me he knows classic cars very well. In Feb 2024 my Chevy Silverado blew the rear differential and I took it to Felipe. He recommended that since I needed to replace the 373 differential I should put in a 456 instead. It cost me a couple $$ more but boy am I glad I listened to him. My 2008 Chevy never towed or ran more efficiently and on less gas then it does now. To those 2 haters that left a bad review was probably cuz they didn't listen to his recommendations that he told them. I know this man he's honest a great family man a good religious man and is very meticulous of his work and ethics and is always appreciative of you bringing your car or truck to him.
