I appreciated how clearly she explained everything to my aunt and made sure she understood her options. The office was well-organized, and the staff was professional and friendly, which made the whole visit smooth from start to finish. It's not always easy to find a doctor who combines expertise with genuine care, but Dr. Goldfarb does exactly that. Overall, I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate specialist.

I would NOT recommend Dr Goldfarb for parathyroid surgery. She performed parathyroid surgery on my…read morefamily member and first of all blatantly lied after surgery about how many parathyroids she took out. Right after surgery she said they took one "and a little bit", then in the following days tells my family member 3 were taken out. She also failed to send my family member home taking calcium after the surgery (standard procedure at the best in the country Norman Parathryroid center in Tampa, we have a family member who had parathyroid surgery here). She waited for calcium to get low and have symptoms before treating rather than trying to prevent from going low in the first place. Since then we have had nothing but issues and almost a year later now my family member is suffering from hypoparathyroidism and having to take calcium everyday to prevent symptoms of low calcium, which the internet says this is usually a result of damage caused during surgery. I am convinced she is the cause of all of this. The said she had to dig around and go almost to the spine to find one and I think she damaged something causing the patient to now have a life long issue. The endocrinologist are now saying the parathyroid may never come back and my family member may have to be on calcium for the rest of their life (risking kidney stones) or medication which is a shot every day to manage the PTH levels. On top of that, Dr Goldfarb's surgery left a huge noticeable scar on the neck of the patient. We are now questioning whether the surgery was even necessary. Prior to this, there were no symptoms no issues besides slightly high calcium and slightly elevated PTH showing up on bloodwork and now it is a daily struggle to manage and no doctor in town seems to know what is going on. Dr Goldfarb was cocky and over confident and dismissive when questions were asked about difficulties with parathyroid surgeries. She was also not proactive in working with the endocrinologist to help with these issues. I would never send anyone to this surgeon and certainly would NEVER allow her to cut my neck open. People need to be aware that parathyroid surgery isn't as simple as doctors make it out to be. I just wish my family member would have gone to UCLA or even Norman Parathyroid Center in Tampa or maybe didn't really even need the surgery to begin with but...surgeons make money off of surgery, dont they?

She truly sees you as a person, not just a patient, and shapes the experience in a way that feels incredibly supportive, calming, and human. I was an anxious patient, but she always made time to answer my questions, big or small, no matter what. Dr. Chavkin's clinical staff is also phenomenal! This review is on behalf of my wife:…read more Dr Geller is a standout among doctors. He pays careful attention to his patients and takes copious notes, rather than just hiding behind the robotic interpretation of test results. My wife has had a low functioning thyroid in most of the 8 years since our son was born. Technically, it's sub-clinical Hashimoto's. Sub clinical basically means that the test results are outside the bounds of what Endocrinologists regard as requiring treatment. Most of them say to a patient "You're fine!" and completely ignore that the patient is NOT f-ing fine at all. My wife was told that she was sub-clinical and she wouldn't be treated until her scores hit the clinical threshold. Yes, that's right - The guidelines are to tell patients they are wrong, fine and just wait until you feel even worse and your test results get really bad - then we'll treat you. Dr Geller is different. He recognizes that this area of medicine is still developing and that there are no definitive clinical answers that fit every patient. So he takes everything you tell him into account and will actually treat you. He is thorough, considered and will develop an approach that fits YOU. My wife felt exhausted for years, her numbers kept increasing (though still sub-clinical) and thankfully, she finally found Dr Geller. He has treated and advised her and she is making great progress. Our old Endocrinologist (and most out there) refused to prescribe synthetic hormones that have now made a huge difference. But suggested anti-depressants instead! That's right. Pass the buck because you are outside the defined range of a test that is not accurately representing the devastating experience of thousands of women across the country. Pay attention to the numbers and not the patient. Some doctors would rather be right instead of try a different approach to help. Dr Geller partners with you in coming up with solutions. He's an absolute gem. P.S. Doctor Geller is out of network and a little more expensive BECAUSE he takes a lot of time with you. Time that medical insurance does not reimburse for. He also uses how own lab so he can get consistent results and control quality. General labs tend to use their own guidelines based on the patients THEY see. This is why you often see different ranges for blood test results.

I was told by the person on the phone who I believe was LAUREN that in order for me to have this done I needed to meet with Dr. Maria first. That fee for one hour consultation was $600. They said once I had my visit with her, I could come in and they would show me how to use my peptides. I ended up having a one hour conversation during which I received a hard cel from Dr. Maria to do an SOT. Despite the fact that I told her I had done three in the past several years ago and they did not work. She continued to go on and on about how I needed this treatment. When I told her I wanted to know how to use my peptides. She glossed over this and did not even address it. I was really uncomfortable that I wasted my money because I could not afford another SOT, which cost $3500 that they charge as well as me having to spend an additional $400 for the galaxy test and $100 for someone to come out and draw my blood. When I called and complained, they said they didn't know who I spoke with but that they only usually give Pepto assistance if you buy them directly from them. That's not what I was originally told. Then I was told after arguing with them in emails and on the phone that they were going to refund me my money. When I asked about the refund, they told me that she id no longer at the practice and that I would now have to go directly to her and get the $600. I told them I was not gonna do that and that I wanted the $600. Finally, they agreed to refund me my money back. They told me on February 13 that it was processed when I called on the 17th asking why it had not hit my bank account. Lauren told me that the holiday weekend would mean it would take a little bit longer. It is now February 27 and I still have not received the money. I had to file a dispute with my bank. She told me it was processed then and then when I called this morning Loren said that it was just processed this morning. So actually it was never processed in the beginning and I was given the runaround. They also didn't acknowledge my email that I wrote two days ago. When I spoke to Loren this morning, she hung up on me and said that's all they could do for me. I had asked to speak to the owner and she won't even let me do that. I'm still waiting for my $600 refund. I do not recommend going to this place. And I don't appreciate being hung up on and given the runaround and having an email ignored. I was a business owner myself, and if I ever had an unhappy client, I immediately took care of it, gave them credit for my services, and sometimes even sent flowers if needed. Not only that, but they don't have a place where they can draw blood. They send someone to your house. This place is not professional at all and does not follow through on their word. If I could give them no stars, that's what I would do. Also, she should've told me that it was re-processed today and that I could expect it within 3 to 5 business days, but I had to be the one to call to find out this information. I still don't believe it. I'll believe it when I see the money come in.Thumbs down!!!

After hearing his name from several trusted clients, I scheduled my initial consultation.  He listened attentively and took thorough detailed medical, genealogical and relevant personal history.  He recommend a battery of tests with follow up to discuss initial treatments.    Following my diagnostics of full blood work, hormones, Dutch test, Gut Zoomer and SIBO testing, I learned that I was gluten intolerant and in menopause at the age of 45 (which many doctors had told me was not a thing- I was too young).  Dr. Citrin put me on gut enzymes and a gluten free diet to start, and also encouraged weight lifting regimen- I lost 6# in just a few weeks and for the first time in almost a year, my GI signs began to resolve and I didn't feel bloated all the time.  At the next consult we began discussing HRT with the goal to try to get me out of menopause and into perimenopause.  I started transdermal estrogen patches and oral progesterone.  For the first time in nearly a decade, I began having a regular cycle.  Brain fog lifted, and my overall energy improved.  Within 6 months, I was down 10# and feeling better, but I really did want to aim for "best I have ever felt in my life." Dr. Citrin took these goals very seriously and began adding peptides, NAD, and a few other hormone tweaks.  I am now 10 months from my initial consult, and I am down over 20#, and have lost 11% body fat.  I did not lose even 0.5# of muscle during my weight loss due to a diet of high protein, high fiber, and weight training.  Somewhere in the mix, I also realized that my lifelong psoriasis has completely resolved. I have no plaques or "scars" that are normally evident even in periods of clear skin. My hair and nails are growing at an accelerated rate-- my hairstylist is seeing a ton of new growth and commented that my hair is growing faster.  Vitality and clarity are higher than I can remember even in my early twenties.  Dr. Citrin is very personable and attentive, his precision and attention to detail unparalleled. Nothing is ever rushed and medical decisions are made collaboratively.  Your medical issues are resolved from the root source and not masked with medications or brushed off as "natural/ normal for this stage of life."  He is a rare combination of scientific rigor and heartfelt compassion that has catalyzed meaningful change in my life.  His office staff are always kind and responsive.  I am so incredibly thankful to be under the care of this clinic.   Start: Age 45 Weight 126.8 Percent body fat 29% BMI - 23 Diet- clean, no processed food Current: Age 46 Weight 105.6 Percent body fat: 18.4% BMI 18.1 Diet -no gluten, no processed sugar, high protein and fiber
