The young lady who did my nails did a good job. But quoted me one price at the table and then charged me another when I went to pay. The last three times I have been there they have done this to me. I paid $70 for a refill with a $10 tip. The same night I opened the door to my truck and my thumb nail chipped. I go back in to have it fixed but she wanted to charge me to fix it. IN TEARS! My daughter went in to get acrylic nails done with a black french tip and in the coffin shape for her graduation at the Missoula MT location. When applying acrylics, they did not remove all of the acrylic from previous application and this caused the acrylics she just had done to lift. Then they overcharged her card and added a $30 tip without her authorization to have that added to her credit card. I spoke to the owners and they said they would work with her and redo her nails. My daughter called me shortly after in tears saying they screamed at her and refused to redo her nails. I called them back and got hung up on. I hate having to write bad reviews but for the owners of this salon to scream at my daughter and put her in tears and then lie about redoing her nails...all this right before her graduation is completely unacceptable. read more

Nana ran out of enough polish for my manicure and pedicure on my right hand at the time said there was no more polish, left and said I think I have enough to finish my my right hand. I believe she added some chemical agent to make the bottle last. That night my right hand nails burned and within 2 days those nails on right hand looked like that thumb. When I went back and showed her, she blamed it on me. I wear rubber gloves in the kitchen and elsewhere and do not garden or handle any harsh chemicals...With tip I paid $120 and she walked away not giving me any money back and not offering to redo anything...I have been going there for 2 1/2 years. This is a pretty nice place for being inside of a Walmart! My nails turned out better than I expected from the reviews, so I'm pleased! Nana is hilarious and super nice, she definitely knows what she's doing and knows how to get stuff done. It was a little chaotic, so Nana was kind of jumping around from customer to customer- but everything ended up okay in the end. A young band started filing my nails and I found him rather rough and disinterested in his job. Then he transferred me to a young lady that works there that seems to be the boss and the two of them began to argue. They were quite loud and finally the young man left and the girl doing my nails continued to yell. I looked around and couldn't find anyone that she could be yelling at. Then I realized her mother was over at the pedicure station and she was yelling toward her. Finally I said would you please stop yelling. To which she responded if you don't like it you can leave! Unfortunately, I decided to get my fill and pedi at this place despite the horrible reviews I read online only because we were passing through town and had our 40' 5th wheel in tow and didn't want to take a chance booking at a reputable establishment not knowing if there would be parking. BAD mistake! This was, by far, the worst pedi I have ever had. Nails cut so short and crooked that they are now going to grow into the sides of my toes. He did not use the tool to get the "junk" out from in between the nails and toes. Also, no callous treatment. I don't wasted $40 plus $10 tip (which, I don't know why I even tipped). HORRIBLE!!!! The guy literally ripped my acrylic nails off, cut my real nails to the quick or below with DIRTY nail clippers. Got a nasty INFECTION under my right pinky nail. Oozed for a week. Went to discuss my appointment and they blew me off. Then accepted the fact they MAY HAVE cut my real nails too short, but oh well. DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible experience. Located in Walmart (Eeks) and it was pretty dumpy. First off the shop was a total mess - old fruit skins and food laying near and on manicure tables! Pretty sure that's a health violation (#1)... (#2) You can tell nothing is disinfected and the uv lamps were never wiped down for months. Disgusting. As for service the lady RIPPED my dip polish right off instead of soaking them. Criticized my previous polish (although it was super thick from last place) and proceeded to do a similar process with dip powder and gel over top...not sure why these places in Missoula do that. It was my first time here. I used to go to another DaVi nails in California and they always did a great job. My spa pedicure was just fine and I loved that I could book an appointment online. The only problem with this place is that the technicians are just rude. I had both a man and woman working on me at different times throughout my appointment. Horrible, Not only was this the worst pedicure I have ever gotten, it was also the most expensive for the least amount of services. Mother of owner has NO concept of the English language. I went in to get a full acrylic set as well as a pedi. Came out paying A LOT for a mess. Over $100. Decided to get paraffin wax pedi. It was done way to quick for a spa treatment paraffin wax. Not worth the price of $42. Also the paint job wasn't good. My acrylic nails are horrible. She was in a rush. Even though they weren't busy. The main tech did the acrylics and she left them crooked and with bubbles. She could have taken the time to do them. I would have been back. But now I won't. The fact that one of you asked me how I liked the work. Thanks for asking but open your eyes and you can see if it was a job well done or not. ‍ Ps the $42 pedi would have been $60 if done with gel. First of all, when I called I was told that my nails would be $30. Then when I got there, the man said that gel would "last longer" which was $40. Which is way too expensive for a fill to begin with. Literally the next day 4 of my nails were chipped. I went back in and he just painted over the chips? He was going to make me pay but I just left. Now I got back home and another nail chipped. If you're going to basically tell me to get gel, then it better last longer than two days. So I called and asked if I could have a refund or some of my money back and the lady said no and to come in and they'll fix it. At this point , I just want my money back. Nana did a horrible job on my nails. I have had the dip (it's like acrylic for natural nails) manicure with my natural nails for over 3 years. She ripped the dip acrylic off my nails with a finger nail clipper and tore my natural nails and just criticized the last shop that did my nails saying they don't know how to do this right. That "she takes care of her clients" and "just watch" "just trust me". I've had a square shape and she filed them down to round and short. Looks ridiculous! Beware!!! I've seen Nana three times now. She was suggested to me by a friend. The last tine I saw her, she did whatever she wanted and would not listen to my request. Nana then made me pay for the nail art, which I did not get. Myself and my girlfriends that have been going, will not be back. As she has done the same thing to them. Her go to the last couple of times with us was "I'll pick what color and Design"..... my other friend ended up with hot pink nails and art that looked ridiculous, again what she did not ask for. I do not recommend this salon, they are very rough, twisting your fingers and hurting them. They're work is sloppy, my nails are all crooked on the top, they don't ask you how you want your nails done as far as round or square they just give you square. The pricing on their board is in accurate, it needs to be brought up to date. It's A LOT more expensive than the board says. They are in a huge hurry, they do not spend a lot of time working on your nails. But they charge a premium for it. She also did not change the towels she used on the person before me, which I considered dirty, and it seemed as if the place was kind of dirty. The man there pestered me for a tip, to be added onto the credit card as a total charge, I told him five dollars, and he was happy with that, but he was unhappy when I wrote zero in the tip area of the bill, even though I gave them five extra dollars on the total. Then he pestered me about how next time I should be sure to get a pedicure as well as a manicure. I also can hardly understand what they are saying. I also feel that it's rude to speak another language when people around you can't understand that language, they speak back-and-forth to each other in another language other than English , they should stick to English only, in an English-speaking country in public,in a business, they are running. Nana is rude. She lied to me saying she could fix chipped nails for free within a week. I had them done 5 days ago and three are chipped. I tried to get an appt and they told me they would charge me 5$ for each. I thought that she was friendly for a long time then she stopped talking to me the whole time she would do my nails only watching her iPad. Tony her husband is the only one that even says hi. Today after trying to get info to contact the owner like she asked me to he hung up on me after not giving me any information. I will never go back here. I finally feel vindicated. I had a horrible experience where I got an infection, and to deal with it Nana screamed at me and Tony got Walmart security. Well after two years, the state board of barbering and cosmetology has them on violations after doing a surprise inspection. I went to DaVi Nails twice in late 2016 when I was in Missoula caring for my ill father. Service is FAST, so don't expect a relaxing moment of quiet. It's incredibly convenient when shopping at WalMart, but be prepared to be harangued NONSTOP to buy more services. Both times I went in for a quick manicure and polish, first time I came out with "gel" polish (which is almost impossible to get off, so if you aren't a regular manicure client, go wide) an UPSELL, the next time I came out with a spider web painted on one of my nails for an additional $5! Another UPSELL that I neither wanted nor appreciated. I lost count of how many times I said no to a pedicure! I haven't been back since because it's just not enjoyable to have someone constantly trying to get you to buy more services, and in some cases just adding crap on that you had no intention of getting. read more

I popped in to DaVi Nails in the Missoula Walmart on Mullan Rd a week ago on the spur of the moment. I needed just a basic manicure and some gel polish because my very short nails were in awful condition from working outside and inside all summer/fall. The guy works and talks very quickly so you are really into it and committed before you know it. Looking around while I'm sitting there, I was horrified at how extremely filthy the place and the equipment is. Literally filth. The UV lights are caked with dirt from hundreds of hands. the tops are grungy and smeared. The insides are bumpy with who knows what. I could not wait to get my hands out of there. Filthy carpets, filthy tabletops, you name it...it's dirty. And, the simple manicure was very sloppy. My nails are all different lengths with some ragged edges, the gel polish is crooked and spots with not polish, some with rough edges already chipping after 3 days. And it cost me $35 ....much more than the pricing on thier board. Save your money and don't risk your health. Stay away from this place. read more
