When we lived in Georgia we had registered to use Jason Tayor moving. We had used them many times and loved their people and work. Unfortunately, I, yup me, failed to sign the agreement. So came to 2 days before and I called - no signed. But they knew Davi & Valenti and they were heading back to FL. He would contact them and see if they could take all our furniture (stuff). Yes, 3 gentlemen showed up and they were awesome - we are talking back in 2019. Careful with everything and unloading in FL. We were just as impressed with their people ad we were with Taylor. In 2023 we decided time to come back here GA full time. Called 3 places including Davi. I do remember one telling me to be careful as lot of movers' load, unload to another with other people's item on the way and that truck heads to destination. But since Davi had been a straight drive before, I (yes I) did not ask. 3 fellows came to pack. They were really great. We had a lot of stuff. They were really nice. When done around 3 pm, I said well see you in GA. No, we don't drive. Ok! I got in my car and headed for our home in GA (we had a villa we were going to part with - so he was up there checking on the new home we were buying. Saturday morning the phone rang and a lady told me the delivery would be the next morning at 8:30 am. I questioned a Sunday. Oops, let me ask the fellow as they are loading the truck now. My heart sank. They arrived on Monday. Truly they looked like someone had spotted them in the park and asked if they were interested in making money for a day's work. They started unloading. My job was when they gave me the label number, I checked it on the prenumbered area of the sheet. One was quite heavy and I remember him carrying a console up to the loft - banging it on each stair. Asked if I should get his partner - nope doing fine. Same fellow I asked to help me turn the mattress around because it was sideways - picked it up and threw it down. Ok! The other man kept bringing in boxes. Then the heavy one tried to carry 3 things - one was wrapped in the blanket. Well stupid dropped it on the ramp; it spun and went off and rolled on the street. The other fellow brought it is and put it up against the garage wall. We looked at it - it had white specks and a small piece missing from one corner. Heartbroken as that had been a gift for one of our holidays with a small bench to match. So I asked if the piece was in the road - thin guy took out of his pocket!!! Then they opened the side door of the truck. I hope I can attach the photos. What a mess. I asked what happened - oh that is junk nothing of yours. So I pointed out the three things that belonged to us (that I could see - there was more behind. Finally done and I didn't have two boxes. Thin took to show them to me. Ok. We are done. Next day started unpacking. Some boxes has a label on one side and another number on the other - surprised - nope! Took time to unpack because you don't miss something until you want to use it. So my mixer, crock pot, a box of books. When we met in 2008, that first Christmas he bought me a Swarovski 2008 ornament for our tree. He has done so every year and we loved them. Our first through 2017 we broken or missing. Stuff was all a mess in that box - which had been in another box. Box labeled Christmas - had a Christmas pillow on top and pans for kitchen underneath - and no a lot. I have been collecting Lenox flowers for years - Poinsettia, the pink and the red roses. The beautiful morning glory and magnolia, etc, etc. And the read hurt - the bird of Paradise was found smashed. One box had coffee spilled all over it and a weird sticker on it - and all boxes had been retaped. A gift of a beautiful platter split in two - look up replacement $150! The mess was heartbreaking. The fellows from Ga to FL were unbelievable. And we thought that was that firm's policy. Not hit and run. And therefore, we did not feel the need for insurance. In the pics below you can see the inside of the back of van which had nothing of our - well that blue box up top, that white rack which can be seen on side and that turquois 3 ripple is actually a great tote for going to kids games or just moving stuff in the yard. I probably deleted the others because it was sad to look at what never would be again. I have been told that Wharton Moving is the parent and it was on the control sheet when moving. We have moved too many times, But the good is we have used Jason Taylor most of the time. Moving in Georgia or away, I would call Jason Taylor 770-889-9924. When we signed a contract with the company, the owner, John Savage, claimed that they were affiliated with Wheaton Worldwide Moving which was not true. The truck driver hired untrained day workers at the final destination and they damaged more than $5000 of our belongings. Absolutely DO NOT use this company. They are disorganized and not forth coming about fees. The truck they sent leaked so bad that it couldn't be pulled into the new storage unit. They sent two guys that moved like molasses. I had to get on the truck to unload at one point. Ridiculous! Also- the inside of the truck was filthy. Warning! Do not waste your money on this company. My mother and I wanted a long distance move from Florida to Michigan. John Savage, the owner, gave us an estimate that was in line with other movers. However, he also gave us a song and dance about needing to know right away whether we were going to use his company otherwise the roads were being shut down for freight and we would not be able to get our belongings out until sometime in August. In retrospect, this was probably a lie. In addition, we were given a binding estimate. I emailed and added a few items which we were then given another binding estimate for. My mother made the mistake of adding a chair and a dresser, so I did not take one of my couches stupidly thinking it would balance out. I was told that because of the switch our load was 4,000 pounds over. We were obviously given an incorrect estimate to start with. However, John at no time admitted that he might have made a mistake. Instead he pointed the finger at my 78-year-old mother and kept blaming her because she added stuff. Extremely poor customer service. Furthermore, he knew on Tuesday, we were supposed to be loaded on Thursday and didn't get loaded untill Friday, that all of our belongings were not going to fit on one truck because the person before us was over on their load. The truck driver let him and the dispatcher know and asked them if they still wanted him to take our load even though it would not fit and have to be split into two shipments. They told him to take the load. We did not know until the truck driver came to get the second load which was my house that our load was going to be split into two. There was absolutely no communication on John's part. The truck driver was on with his dispatcher telling them that we needed to get a truck out because we were already a day late. I had calls and emails into John, customer service, and the move manager. The only person who would talk to me or answer their phone was customer service. When John finally did call he was yelling at me on the phone and telling me it was all my mother's fault that we had to have two loads. He even went so far as to tell me that he needed to have men with trucks not boys with wagons to load our stuff. He was very unprofessional, uncaring, and horrible at customer service. Our move date was July 15th. It is now August third and I was told yesterday that the rest of my belongings MAY be coming in August 11th. Oh, and I also had to find somebody to unload the semi when it got to Michigan. The driver was the only one who was unloading. The owner, john, is the one who should have set that up. It's ridiculous when the customer has to do their work. That's not all of the problems that we encountered, but those are the highlights with this company. Their parent company Wheaton Van lines was no help and resolving any of these problems either. I also suggest you stay away from them unless you want them to stick their lawyer on you. read more

Contracted with them to move a couch out of the house and some recliners from room to room. Do not use this company. I had to show the two guys that the recliner came apart as they had no idea of what they were doing. They also destroyed a brand new welcome mat on the front porch by dropping the couch on top of it. I filed a claim twice with the company for payment of mat and never received one dime or an apology. No ethics, horrible customer service. Avoid this company. read more

Terrible. The guy who came to our house promised us several things that never were done to protect our valuable furniture. He told us they were much better movers since they took the time to wrap all the furniture and then in the new house unwrap the furniture. Sounds great right. Total friggin lies, nothing was ever wrapped and they destroyed my precious grandfather clock and even took photos before they left, promising that somebody would contact us about it. Later we found another sofa that was manhandled and a part of the wooden foot cracked and fell off. I have tried to contact them and they have not responded. We found out the hard way, movers down here are about the worst quality profession there is. In Florida, anybody can get a truck and start advertising they are a mover. Good luck. read more

If I could give negative stars I would!! Not only did they damage multiple items and lost boxes, but they won't process my insurance claim! I paid extra for the insurance and I was told by the owner that since I gave them a negative review, they won't reimburse me for my lost and damaged items. Use them at your own risk!! They did not treat me in an honest and professional manner. By the way, be warned, they won't take your items off the truck until you pay them first! I had several bad experiences with this firm. They delivered things to the wrong address for my daughter. They stole a package of very expensive linens from me. Denied any wrong doing when it clearly was lost or stolen by all paper work. This company is a total rip off, we used them after Hurricane Irma and they have been completely dishonest. Since I set up an autopay for the storage locker fees, they were taking the money out each month until last August. This is an absolute scam. I needed simple move from one apartment to a garage a couple miles away. Everything in the apartment was boxed up, organized and just simply needed to be loaded on. I spoke to a guy named John Savage days prior to the move. He said that rate was $100/hr + $50 for the truck fee for two guys. This was a simply job that should've taken no more than two hours. A few mattresses needed to be wrapped up, which he said wasn't a problem, and then everything should just be loaded up. I was promised an email quote in which I never received. But there was nothing said at all about a minimum rate or anything along those lines. the day of the move, three guys showed up, even though I only was told two. The man in charge asked me how much I was told for the rate and I told him $100/hr + $50 truck fee, and he said yes before they started moving. They were very slow loading up the furniture and took all three of them to shrink wrap the couches and mattresses. The shrink wrapping was below par and left gapping holes and sides exposed of the furniture. One guy had to keep taking breaks for what looked like an oxygen machine. After unloading after 2.5 hours, they were done. The man in charge told me it would be $450 dollars, because there was a four hour minimum. Again, I was NEVER told anything about a minimum on the initial phone call, or the initial rate conversation earlier that day. I was already upset, and told them to call up John Savage. John said that he may have forgot to mention the minimum but told me I still had to pay. After back and forth I just decided to pay these scammers in full and take it up with the BBB later. The next day I noticed a few pieces of mine broken. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are scammers, will tell you one thing and say something the next. Very incompetent movers as well. read more
