DO NOT HIRE! I hired Josh from "Dad Can!" for a one-day installation of an over-the-range…read moremicrowave, five days before my tenant's move-in date. He guaranteed the installation would be completed before the move-in deadline. On the installation day, Josh insisted the microwave could only be installed by cutting a hole through the back of the house to vent externally from the rear of the unit. I questioned whether the microwave could instead be installed in a forward position to allow front/top ventilation, but he insisted that was not possible. Because I was concerned about gas and water lines in the wall, I asked him to share the installation instructions so I could review them remotely, as I was not on-site. He did not provide them. Two days later, he returned with the vent kit and cut into the wall, only to discover obstructing gas and water lines. At that point, he finally reviewed the installation instructions and learned that the microwave could, in fact, be installed in a forward position using a bump-out kit, allowing front ventilation without cutting through the wall. A third visit would then be required because the correct kit had to be ordered. I asked him to at least repair the hole that same day, since there were still approximately three hours remaining in his scheduled time and the wall repair compound would need time to dry, but he refused. He also refused to return the following day, offering instead to complete the work only after the tenant's move-in date. When I attempted to discuss scheduling options to complete the installation before the tenant's arrival, Josh repeatedly spoke over me, became confrontational, and behaved unprofessionally throughout the conversation. Ultimately, I had to terminate the job, hire a new contractor, and pay an additional $125 to repair the wall damage, on top of the installation cost. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others before hiring this company. I will also be pursuing reimbursement for the additional costs incurred as a result of this situation.

Take your business elsewhere!…read more The original estimate was for $550. Two employees came out for measurements and changed the quote to over $3,000. Then had the audacity to ask for $50 for coming out. Don't advertise "free estimates" if they're not free!!!! The man who runs the company acted as if we were in the wrong, saying "No business comes out and doesn't get paid for giving a quote". As a matter of fact, every HVAC contractor, painter, plumber, every other help we have EVER hired has always given a free quote IN PERSON. And if you're going to charge to come out- TELL THE CLIENT. We would have never asked you to come out and waste our time. I'm not interested in any response from the owner. He wanted to try to blame my husband and myself for "not understanding" that there would be a charge to come to the property. How do you not understand something you were never informed of? He also wanted to say that I wasn't clear in my project details. If it's "not clear" or more detail is needed, it's the businesses' responsibility to ask more questions before giving a quote. We also had them scheduled to arrive at 10 AM and they casually pulled up at 11:30 am as if people don't have other things to do. --We NEVER told you that the work would be completed today. Never. That sounds like an issue on your end. We said several times that we wanted you to "come look at everything". In what world does that mean complete the job? & I will leave whatever negative reviews that I feel are needed. Thanks. --In my project details, it lists out every single thing that I requested a quote on. Stop trying to make it sound like we are in the wrong. You're only making yourself look worse. And no one is disrespecting you either. LOL I'm leaving an honest review. Conduct your business properly and you won't get negative reviews.
