Great Working with Dava, so much knowledge and experience. She helped us set a path forward during a particularly stressful period. We had to make a sudden move out of state leaving our house before selling. With excellent communication, full transparency and cost considerations Dava arranged the various aspects of preparing for sale. The house was cleaned out with disposal of goods for best end use. Then prepped and beautifully staged for listing pictures which were outstanding. During the sale she coordinated required inspection and worked with contractors where necessary. Dava ensured the digital sale went smoothly maintaining close communication throughout the process. We are very appreciative of Dava and highly recommend her services. read more

I've worked with Dava three times in the last 15 years. When we moved to Corvallis, she was our buyer's agent, and she helped us find the perfect house, in a neighborhood we wanted, just a 10 minute walk from our daughter's elementary school. It was a touch market in 2007, and she helped us make just the right offer to win and get the house of our dreams. I was in Boston and unable to travel, so I never even saw the house before owning it. It was perfect. When I got divorced, we needed to sell that house, and, again, she was phenomenal. This was a wild market in 2021, and she helped us prep the house for sale, evaluate offers and sell the house for nearly $70,000 above list. It went in five days. Finally, after living in an apartment for 18 months, I decided I was ready to start looking again. Within a week, Dava helped me find exactly the house I was looking for in Southtown and was a phenomenal negotiator. I got the house for $10k under list and also got $1,000 from the seller towards closing costs to pay for a repair even though the seller had said he wouldn't make any repairs. She sent me boxes to help with the move and had the house professionally cleaned before moving in. I would recommend no one else to my friends in Corvallis who want to buy or sell a home. She is the best. I'm 100% team Dava. read more

Dava was simply amazing helping us to sell our house, she spent time explaining exactly what to expect as we sold our house, she helped us to know what to do and when to do it. We never felt like we were left alone during the process. Dava was responsive at all times of the day and evening whenever questions or fears popped into our heads. Bottom line is Dava helped us get our home ready for the market and it sold so quickly that we almost weren't ready to leave. If you are buying or selling, you 100% need Dava on your side, you will feel like she has nothing going on in life but you. Thanks so much Dava. read more

I purchased my home in Corvallis 2 years ago. I have not been prompted by anyone except myself to finally write this review. I have not forgotten my exceptional experience working with Dava Behrens. I actually called Dava on the phone without a clue that I was getting the most knowledgeable, competent and down right nice person in Corvallis real estate (my humble opinion). She worked hard for me and absolutely has a great eye for real estate and the market. She will give you a frank opinion on the place you are looking at. She's also great at seeing potential in relation to price. I also noted that she has the respect from her peers and local businesses as she is a quintessential professional. I'm still using her very useful list of recommend vendors. That's my review- better late then never! Thank you Dava. read more

Dava really knows her business! Without her help, we would probably not have been able to buy the house we really wanted! She went out of her way to connect us with the right contractors and to guide us through the buying process. read more

We would like to thank you for all your excellent services in selling our house at Corvallis. Selling a house from over 3000 miles away was a daunting challenge for us. With your being there helped us more than we can say! We greatly appreciate you went the extra mile over to assist us on all aspects of selling, such as "staging", repairing, and explaining process steps and keeping us informed. Moreover, you provide a POA procedure to facilitate document signing for an absent signer at closing. Your advice and comps were invaluable to us in making decisions, and you always handled things in a highly professional manner. Thank you again for your dedicated help and your friendship. We would certainly contact you next time when the opportunity is up as well as recommend your services to others. read more

We were so happy we found Dava! Simply thinking about buying a home in a new city and state was intimidating. Dava provided invaluable support throughout the entire process. She really listened to us and didn't waste time showing us homes that didn't fit our needs. Our questions were always answered in a timely manner and always in her straightforward, honest manner. When it came time to purchase she guided us through every step and watched out for our interests. Dava knows the Corvallis area market inside and out. She is a true professional with a great sense of humor. We appreciated all the great insight she shared about Corvallis (history, events, shops, restaurants, etc.) as it helped us acclimate. We recently bought a lovely place in Corvallis with the help of Dava. We moved from California last year and weren't familiar with Corvallis area much. Dava was recommended to us by one of our friends. She not only helped us find a place that's best suitable for us but also helped us with everything that came after. She is efficient, quick to get back to with answers and always available via phone, email or to meet up There was never any delay from her end whether it's with paper work or getting information from other realtor. She recommended a great inspection service as well. We love her work and dedication to this job. Her complimentary packing kit was top notch She started off as a realtor and became a family friend, thanks for all your help Dava. We will always come to you in future as well and would definitely recommend you to our friends. read more

Fantastic experience for us as first time homebuyers. Dava has lots of experience and can help you find your home. She was also very patient and knowledgeable of the home buying process. Dava made the search fun and was a great negotiator as well. Highly recommended! read more

Dava is exceptional! We were fortunate enough to be referred to Dava by another happy customer of hers. We had to transfer to Corvallis and were unfamiliar with the area and Dava exceeded all our expectations. She met with us the same day she returned from a long business trip and toured all of Corvallis with us to help us understand the real estate market better and to get to know the area. When we found our perfect home with her help Dava supported and stood by us through the entire process. Her considerable experience of being a Broker for 17 years prevented any surprises and everything in the entire home buying process (which is very complex when you are from out state). We will always recommend Dava for exceptional service and customer focus when it comes to Real Estate purchases. read more

Dava was our realtor when we moved to Corvallis from Salem. Our friends referred us to Dava and we found her to be an exceptional realtor. She knows Corvallis exceedingly well and was able to find us every resource we needed as we looked for a house. She ensured that the houses we put offers on were all inspected closely...in one case by multiple types of professionals including a standard inspection and a structural engineer and a siding expert and an arborist. And she was able to attend all inspections in our stead. She was flexible and her energy and follow through was consistent. She was also a consummate professional thru the entire search. You will find the house you want if you work with Dava! read more

We are from Singapore and moved to Corvallis about a month ago. Months before our move to Corvallis, we kept a close watch on some common property websites. We fell in love with few houses that we saw from those websites and so we emailed few Brokers for their honest feedback on those houses (cause we could not view the house at all). I can tell you that among few brokers that we emailed, Dava was the most knowledgeable one about the specific area in Corvallis that we wanted. We talked with Dava over the phone and arranged for a FaceTime for her to do a video tour of one particular house that we liked the most. However, the internet connection went wrong on the day of the FaceTime. It was a blessing in disguise cause Dava eventually took a lot of videos of every single rooms, yard and neighborhood etc of that house. We watched those videos million times when we were still in Singapore. Not only did she show the good things about the house but she also pointed out some defects in her videos. That video helped us to arrive on a decision to take a leap of faith and made an offer to that house. Dava was very prompt in giving us timely update on the whole progress. She patiently explained to us all the unfamiliar terms and legal procedures. To us, the most stressful part was when we received the inspection report that we almost wanted to give up. Dava walked us through every single item in the report and helped us to formulate few strategies to move forward. She helped us to bargain with the seller and she did a fantastic job! I surely believe it took someone with wealth of experiences to do whatever things that Dava has done for us. In every step of the process, she had been very calm and never gave any pressure to us. She would give her honest opinion that helped us seeing the bigger picture. On the day we arrived in Corvallis, Dava showed us the house and we couldn't be happier to see that it looks exactly like the one we had been watching from the videos. Thank you so much, Dava, from the bottom of our heart!! read more

Dava is hands down the best in the business in Corvallis. I interviewed multiple realtors in Corvallis before selecting a realtor to work with. She was smart, savvy, super-professional, people-sensitive, ethical, and persuasive. She brought an excellent professional team with her, all on a tight schedule. My sale was stressful (for me!) because I was selling a house I'd lived in for 25 years. I particularly appreciated her emotional support when it was needed. read more

Dava is a joy to work with. Because she listened to what I wanted, she helped me select the perfect house. And because he is so good at what she does, when it came time to sell it, it literally flew off the market. It was all easy except the actual move but then she also helped there too by providing contact information for the needed assistance. She is knowledgeable and savvy of the market, the history of housing in the area and who's who in business. She was always professional, didn't cut corners and set realistic expectations. I highly recommend her. read more

We recently purchased a home in Oregon with Dava as our realtor. We have worked with many realtors in the past and by far Dava is easily the most effective and knowledgeable of them all. We had the complexity of going through the process remotely as we were living in California and wanting a particular home and environment. We found Dava on the internet and were very skeptical at first but fortunately found that we couldn't have made a better choice. Dava not only had the unique ability to quickly identify what we wanted but also had a natural ability to effectively focus on only those properties that were worth the effect to look at thus saving a tremendous amount of time and energy. Dava's level of experience was remarkable as was shown many times over, knowing the neighborhoods, other realtors, experts needed to be consulted, and the uncanny ability to go through a house and asses it in detail, identify potential problems verses non-issues, what needed to be looked at further and what didn't. We ended up fully trusting Dava to cover "all the bases" and knowing that she would proactively followup on what was needed, which she so expertly did, as she did a better job than any inspector and realtor combined. Our stress over the entire process was minimal because of the well-earned trust and respect we placed on Dava - she far exceeded our high standards and expectations. And we ended up with a beautify home that both my wife and I are greatly enjoying. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Dava. She was able to provide amazing insights and thoughtful responses. There were times that this process was a challeng for us (for one reason or another) and Dava was always able to help trouble shoot and work things out. She also put in countless hours and we recomend her to anyone looking to sell and/or buy a house. She is AMAZING! read more

As a first time homebuyer, I found working with Dava and the entire staff at Coldwell Bankers to be very easy and enjoyable. My loan process did not go entirely smoothly due to recent changes in regulations and she was invaluable in spurring the bank along to make sure we closed on time. Additionally, I was very pleased with all the support staff she involved, including the building inspector and cleaner. While I am sure she had other clients concurrent to me whose transactions were much more profitable, it never felt that way. She remembered many things about conversations we had and demonstrated that she valued my business in other ways as well. If and when I buy a second home I hope to work Dava again, because it will be hard to find another realtor as competent and trustworthy. read more

I live in Massachusetts, so it was especially important to me to find a capable, trustworthy and responsive agent to handle the sale of my Corvallis property. Three days after its listing on mls I received a full price offer. Dava's expertise and efforts guided the process through necessary repairs, inspections and all of the paperwork needed to complete the sale. My only regret is not having been able to meet and thank Dava in person. read more

Dava has helped us sell two homes and purchase a home in the last year. We couldn't have been more impressed! She worked hard on our behalf, consistently going above and beyond for us. We appreciated that she is honest, straight-forward, and knowledgeable. Dava is the BEST! read more

Dava was the best choice we could have made!! She was forthcoming letting us know up front, what and how she would set up and sell our home. She priced it correctly and did exactly what she said she would from staging the house to the inspections and repairs and negotiations in a professional, no nonsense manner. Her knowledge and experience is undeniable. As we are out of the state it was a great relief having someone dependable that just did it!!! We had a buyer within a month with Dava after it being listed for 5 months previously with a different realtor during what should have been peak selling season. Thank you Dava....you are the BEST!!!!! read more

Dava did a wonderful job selling my Father's home in Corvallis after he passed away. I don't live in Oregon so I really relied heavily upon Dava's expertise and willingness to do what it took to make the sale happen. In addition to the usual things one would expect from a realtor; market analysis, pricing, negotiation, etc, Dava helped prepare the house for sale, worked with the rental tenant, and made sure that I could list, negotiate, and sell the home without having to travel to Corvallis. Dava kept in regular contact throughout the entire process, and was available to me by phone and email whenever I need to reach her. I'm happy to recommend Dava to anyone looking for a great realtor! read more

We are out-of-state buyers living in the midwest and therefore needed an agent who could provide real-time assistance at a distance. This included narrated video tours of prospective properties using live streaming apps and/or uploaded youtube videos provided by Dava and her assistant. We also needed someone who was familiar with the process of purchasing property at a distance - including negotiating with the seller and signing documents online. Dava and her team did an outstanding job helping us look at various properties using online narrated tours. We ultimately found a home that was listed as an FSBO property and Dava's ability to work with the seller and do the heavy lifting was the difference that led to a successful closing. Dava is a down-to-earth professional who goes above and beyond in order to find a property that is a good fit given the needs of a buyer. But her skills as facilitator and her ability to stay focused on the details is what really stands out - especially once an offer to purchase has been made and accepted. Its at that point that a buyer, working at a distance, needs someone they can trust to represent their interests. In our particular case, there were several items that came up during the contingency period that required time and negotiation to work through. Dava did an excellent job listening and offering suggestions on how to proceed through a difficult period that could have easily led to our walking away from the property. Dava always responded to our many questions and made sure our questions were fully answered. She did a great job working with the seller and explaining why we were requesting an additional test or reduction in price. We are very satisfied with the process that led to a successful closing and that satisfaction is largely built on Dava's knowledge, experience, and hard work representing our interests as we purchased a home in Corvallis while living in another part of the country. read more
