Quick, easy and affordable destruction of important papers. They are the only place I'll go

College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving - Kalamazoo

This is the 4th time I have used College Hunks on Miller St in Kalamazoo in the past 6 months!!!…read moreThere are not enough words to express how grateful I am to this company for all the hard and dirty work they do, and they always do it with a smile. The entire team is so polite, and they always let you know what is happening. They have always arrived early so you never have to wait on them, and the payment process is super easy also! These guys cleared an entire basement out of household items going up and down basement steps, the entire time with smiles on their faces, even when it got nasty and dirty. They are genuinely a super team and the company owner should be very proud of them!! Thank you Greg and your team!!! And thank you College Hunks Kalamazoo Miller St for continuing to provide the community with quality work with trustworthy employees!!

My experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving in Kalamazoo was beyond unacceptable…read more I hired them for a move on the 31st of last month, and during that move they took an antique footboard that I never authorized them to take. This was not junk, not donation, and not something I would ever agree to get rid of. It was a clearly identifiable piece of furniture, and it is now gone. When I reported the issue, instead of taking responsibility, I was given a list of ten different places and told to track it down myself. After wasting my time doing that, I was told it had been taken to Salvation Army. I went there in person--only to be told they do not accept partial bed pieces, so that explanation doesn't even hold up. Then the owner, Anastasia, called and offered me $50 for the loss of an antique item that was taken without permission. That alone was insulting. But what made the situation worse was her complete refusal to acknowledge that a mistake could have been made. She repeatedly insisted that "they don't take items unless told," effectively dismissing my experience entirely. So to be clear: I am being told that either I instructed them to remove an antique piece I would never part with--which is false--or that it is impossible for their team to make a mistake--which is also not credible. At no point was there accountability, only deflection. If you're considering using this company, understand this: if something goes wrong, you may be left chasing your own belongings while being told the company can't possibly be at fault. I would not trust them with anything important or irreplaceable. She also edits old Google reviews to push down any negative reviews
