For about 5 years, I had used this firm a number of times, and was happy to recommend them. Sadly, after an abusive call from the Controller in the early morning of 25 September 2019, I will no longer be using them, nor happy to recommend them. I had pre-booked them to collect me from the airport on the evening of my return from holiday. On the night before my flight back to the UK, I got a call from the taxi driver who had arrived 24 hours early, which I pointed out at that stage. I emailed the firm to express my concern and check that there would be a cab to collect me on the correct date. Early on the following morning of 25th of September, the Controller rang me. He berated me for having got the booking time wrong when I made the booking. When I tried to reason with him, and query what he was saying, he shouted at me. He said how dare I imply that he was a mental case, that he could not believe what he was hearing from me, and whenever I tried to speak, he spoke over me, frequently raising his voice. When I asked him to stop shouting, and queried whether he should treat a customer like this, he shouted how dare I treat him like a servant. When I said I was not happy to be spoken to like this, and asked him to refer me to his manager, he said he would not do so. When I queried this, he said it was because his manager should not be wasting time over such a stupid matter. Whilst I eventually established there would be a cab waiting for me at the correct time and date on my arrival back, this was not without my getting a call on my mobile abroad for some 20 minutes with this shouted abuse. Soon after this call, I emailed a complaint to the firm. I got no response. I followed up with two more emails repeating my complaint, and seeking an apology. I still got no response.
