Horrible communication from Lydia Camp. Refuse to release funds without a complaint to the Ga Bar several attorneys quit and the case is delayed and prolonged unnecessarily. I lack confidence in the Attorney skills and professionalism.44% fees with just a arbitration I had to negotiate my own case couldn't get a resolution from the owner of this firm to dispute. I felt scammed and cheated. Suffered in the accident and had to deal with this. I regret hiring them. read more

Everything!!!!! I would not recommend this Law Firm to anyone. What they did to me was pitiful!! Out of $60,000.00, l only received$6,800 and some change. They took money for themselves and the so called doctors. They claimed that the doctors saw me when l know that l went to them a few times. I wish l never heard of them. They took advantage of me and l had to call the one who worked on my case several times and never got a call back. They didn't care anything about the fact that my car was totaled and l have a pinched nerve in my neck. I was told that if l had the surgery, l wouldn't get anything. Please don't get this Law Firm for anything because l don't want other people to be treated the way they treated me. I am going to report this Law Firm(Dispit Law Firm) to the Attorney General Office. This is criminal what they did to me Sincerely, Dorothy Rivers read more

After working with DASPIT LAW FIRM, I honestly believe that I should have been the one getting paid. The amount of time I spent tracking down answers, chasing updates, and basically managing my own case was impressive-even by legal industry standards. Maybe I should have invoiced them for "client case management services," since I seemed to be the only one doing the actual work. If the firm put half as much effort into their clients as they do into their marketing, they might be worth their fee. But based on my experience, I'd suggest they invest some of that settlement money into the professional development courses they so clearly need. Until then, I'd recommend anyone looking for actual legal help keep searching. read more

RED FLAGS -- Read Before Hiring 1 star- NO! Star if it allowed! Based on my personal experience with Daspit Law Firm: Communication drops once you're signed on Calls and emails go unanswered unless you chase repeatedly You are kept in the dark about your own case Important details are not clearly explained upfront Asking reasonable questions is met with defensiveness or silence Pressure appears when concerns are raised You stop feeling like a client and start feeling like a problem Interactions involving Jonathan Webster and John Daspit reinforced these concerns. This firm advertises aggressive, client-first representation. That was not my experience. If you value transparency, communication, and basic respect, consider this a warning. read more

BEWARE: DASPIT LAW FIRM IS A SCAM!! They promise you the moon and the stars and then ghost you. My experience has been a nightmare and wish I'd read the reviews beforehand. This is my AWFUL experience: I had an accident on April 28, 2024 and went on to contact them. It took THREE weeks for them to assign me a doctor and ANOTHER THREE weeks for them to send me to therapy. At the beginning, I was assigned to Austin Delgado, who did nothing for my case and then disappeared. Ryan Boyer took over and proved to be worse because he didn't even know how to file a claim! I researched him and discovered he used to be a criminal defense attorney with very poor reviews. Looks like he couldn't make it in that area and shifted to accidents. After Boyer, I was assigned to Luke Hartwick, who took all the information related to my accident for the first time!! It felt like I was starting over since he had nothing to reference. Absolutely nothing! How are there no files or notes to reference??!! What have they been doing to my case files all this time??!! I thought Ryan Boyer was the worst, but then came the worst of the worst!! Andrew Conticelli! This guy spent more than a year telling me, "Your case is priority, number one." Upon researching him, I realized he was more concerned about keeping up appearances on social media than his work. And then after a year, he disappeared! Then I was in limbo, with no one overseeing my case. After MORE THAN 60 CALLS, someone finally answered and said I was assigned a new attorney, yet again, Gio De León. Sigh. It has now been MONTHS and cannot get a hold of her. I don't know where my case stands or even if it still stands. They bounce you from attorney to attorney; once one ghosts you/disappears, they assign a new one. And they continue to do this with no resolution to your case. On top of all this, you are going to end up paying 50% in attorney's fees. They're a SCAM!! This firm is a SCAM!! read more

Today is 08/13/2026. My accident was on June 17, 2017. Once this law firm figured out I wasn't a big score. I was useless to them, and they treated me as such. Won't answer my calls and talked to me like I was a pest. They only got me $40,000, I felt like they cared more about the young and pretty woman that hit me. And when I say hit me. She hit and squeezed my physical body against my own car with her vehicle. I'm old; I have old people's aches and pains, mind you. Yes, I went to the doctor for some things. But nothing even close to what I'm dealing with now. I'm getting Botox shots for migraines; shots in my back and neck for chronic pain. Chiro, therapy, a bag full of pain meds. But I felt like they thought I was faking and out for cash and to ruin some young girl's life, I didn't know anything about but her name on the report I received at the incident site. They even tried to say I was harassing her. How, where, when????!!!! They didn't fight for the best outcome for me. This was life-changing for me; I will never be the same. My pain is still ongoing. I would give this review a minus -100 if I could. I won't recommend this law firm for anything. read more

Strap in because this is going to be a wild and frustrating ride... So, my initial car accident happened October 26th, 2022. This law firm has been hard to get ahold of, they kept tossing me from attorney to attorney and are EXTREMELY misogynistic. Since the start, I've documented everything. On 4/18/24, Jared Capps (the main POS in this) called to introduce himself --- mind you, this had been after months of trying to get ahold of ANYONE from the firm; to then then abruptly end the call saying, "Sorry, sweetie, I gotta take this," and never followed up with me... until I made a negative review. (It's like their 'bat signal' except, they don't help) On 4/7/25 ("mitigation day"), I was excluded from the Zoom call with the mitigator. I had texted Jared if I should stay on the zoom call since no one was there, and he proceeded to call me and say that he + the mitigator are both working on the "biggest case the firm has ever seen!" and that our originally planned $250K claim was now $89K a.k.a "the best I was going to get," but he ASSURED ME he would have me walk away with about 40K. I was tired of fighting with these people and needed my car fixed, so I agreed. Fast forward to August, I go to pick up my settlement check... and they try handing me 17K. And while yes, I understand that is still a lot of money. But when your back is permanently messed up from a 5 car accident, AND you don't even get half of what you were promised... it makes you angry. So, I told them to hold onto the check for me while I figure this out. I get John Dipshit and Jared Cuck on a three 3 text message, asking them where the hell the rest of my money is. Johnny boy then proceeds to incorrectly spell my name, and state that I was "given an itemized list of where all the money went" and when I send them photocopies of the list they gave me (stating I should have at the VERY least 40K) then proceed to copy + paste the same message. Do NOT use this law firm. read more

I beg of you not to choose this law firm. The letter they send must be a usual for them. The attorney they assigned me was/is one of the rudest non caring attorneys I've met. All this law firm cares about is getting a slice of the money PERIOD. They did nothing for me but want to make sure I went to the doctor. NOT IF I AM OK BUT IF IM STARTING TO RACK OF THE BILLS. I did not feel valued at all. All the attorney they assigned me to said "well why would he not take the case they have a huge policy". Mind you I DID ALL THE WORK FOR THE 1 week i had them. They sent me that same letter trying to get "35%" saying the same verbiage when I sent an email saying I was unhappy with them. This place is a scam. I agree with others. This law firm is crooked and they do not care about their clients. They will get paid and you won't. They don't do anything. Daspit Law went head to head with Evil, Inc. on a repetitive stress injury case. It was an uphill battle against a company that would gladly spend a million dollars to avoid paying a single dime to acknowledge they were responsible for my injuries. Terrible law firm with terrible ethics. I started a very simple case for a personal injury claim . This firm had me change lawyers multiple times without my knowledge. They have me speaking with multiple different paralegals who just happen to just start this new position. Weeks on I made around 30 phone calls, left messages with the front office, and have not been been able to get a response or update on my case. What I was awarded they are trying to pocket a very big amount of and I'm the one who went through trauma . That is what I call pure robbery. I will be making a BBB complaint additionally I will be making a complaint with the Texas Bar. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do not fall for all their 5 star fake reviews. Even Yelp gives me a notification saying they have noticed it. The bottom line is a Daspit "Law Firm" is a SCAM. Communication is, for all intents and purposes, non-existent. They are rude and involved in some shady/illegal/unethical behaviors. Anyone who has been a victim of them needs to file a grievance with the Texas Bar Association. https://www.texasbar.com/Content/NavigationMenu/ForThePublic/ProblemswithanAttorney/GrievanceEthicsInfo1/File_a_Grievance.htm You have rights and they have responsibilities. You own your OROGINAL case file. For some reason, it appears they have an internal policy of doing everything they can to not give it to you. It doesn't matter what they think, it is yours and you have a right to it. Do not let them bully you into only getting the electronic copy, you are the owner of the ORIGINAL file. PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME if you have had a bad experience. moralityrebellion@google.com Also, LEAVE GOOGLE REVIEWS so others don't make the same mistake we did. As long as it is honest and truthful, you can not be legally pursued in any way. Make sure everything is in writing and you record ALL phone calls with your lawyer. In Texas, only one person needs to know the conversation is being recorded and that person is you. My story is long and I come with emails and recorded phone calls for anyone who is interested. This firm is lies, bribery (to remove bad Google reviews-I have proof) and bullying. Send me a message through here and I will share everything along with walking you through the grievance process with the Texas Bar Association. I also highly recommend filing a complaint with the BBB and anywhere else you can find. The only way to stop them is if people make the complaints. After reading through other reviews, I got off easy with them. It makes me sick how they have no morals and are hurting people. read more

In August 2023, my mother recommended this law firm. Although she referred me to her lawyer, Yantel assigned me Gary Saunders, who helped me find treatment for my injuries. In November, after a month of unreturned calls and emails, Yantel informed me that Gary was no longer with the firm, but no one had notified his clients. I was then assigned William Morrison, who stopped responding after our first call. When I completed my treatment, my therapist assured me he would submit all the necessary documents to my lawyer. Despite this, I couldn't reach William, so I contacted Yantel again. She informed me that William was still with the firm and advised me to speak to his paralegal, Trish Pieratt. Trish then told me they were missing some medical bills from my physical therapist, who insisted he had already submitted them. After resubmitting the documents, Trish confirmed in late November 2023 that she had everything needed and scheduled my deposition for February. When I followed up in early February for a specific date, I received no response. Frustrated, I contacted another representative, expressing my dissatisfaction with the service. She promised to sort things out, and Trish called back, claiming she was still waiting on records from my physical therapist, contradicting what she previously said. After confronting her, she admitted she had the records since December but now claimed the missing documents were from my initial hospital visit, which I had already provided. Frustrated with the runaround, I requested access to my insurance submissions. Trish refused but gave me her cell number for updates. Despite this, in March 2024, she said they were still waiting on the first hospital document. At this point, I was overwhelmed and decided to give up on dealing with the case, as the car accident had already been a traumatic experience, and the law firm's inconsistencies added significant stress. In April, I contacted Trish again to inform her of another case that was having issues due to this case being open. This prompted Trish to finally schedule my deposition. She set it for May 14, 2024, with a run-through with my lawyer William on May 13, 2024, and provided me with times for both. On May 13, I waited for the Zoom link for the 3 PM run-through, but by 2:45 PM, I hadn't received anything. When I emailed William, I received an auto-reply indicating he had been out of the office since May 9 and wouldn't return until May 28. I then replied to everyone on the email chain asking for the link and clarification on who would be representing me. No one responded, so I called and informed the receptionist that I hadn't received the Zoom link for the run-through. I also texted Trish but received no reply. When Trish finally called back at 3:15 PM, she stated that my run-through was scheduled for 3 PM, despite it being past that time. She then informed me that William was out of the office and someone else would conduct the run-through and represent me at the deposition. The first person assigned didn't show up, so another person took over. Both the walk-through and the deposition on May 14, 2024, were handled well by knowledgeable and pleasant representatives. They informed me that William would submit all documentation and provide updates after the deposition. It is now June 3, 2024, and I have yet to hear from anyone. My mother, who referred me to this firm, also faced communication issues and wouldn't have recommended them if she knew it would be this bad. I lost my original lawyer and have no idea about the next stems or my current representation. I cannot recommend this law firm, as this experience has been unacceptable. Update- It is now october 2024, I'm still receiving the same experience. This law firm has already received payment from my accident in september and refused to return my calls. read more

My experience with this law firm has been so disappointing. The 3 lawyers I had to deal with were just so bad. I recorded my mediation because something was just off. After mediation I went to collect my own medical records because McAlpine made up a couple of doctor transcribed medical records and he had also lied about the eye witness. I went for months looking for past clients and did find quite a few. There cases were worked the same as mine. They were told the same things as I was told. I signed my settlement in March of 2025, and it is now 8 months and I have not received anything. The past clients had told me that they had all filed Grievances and they were all dismissed, and that this law firm were just scammers. It was the only reason I settled to see for myself. I am dealing with Robert Morse right now as my lawyer, what a joke. I have made a complaint to the FTC and the Texas Attorney's office. I have requested a criminal investigation because they are taking cases with no intention of ever going to court, that is illegal, and they are working straight off the settlement fees, and that is a conflict of interest. Please do your homework and do not hire Daspit. They have no empathy and don't care if you are hurting, they lie and lie and lie, I do not talk to them. If you need to sue them for malpractice, I will be happy to testify on your behalf. I have all emails and recorded mediation of how they talk to their clients. The only reason I know it's malpractice is I emailed some big law firms and this is what they said my case would be. I don't want to sue for money, I want them to lose their license for doing this to lots and lots of people. Good luck to all. read more

This law firm is a fraud. Since I signed a contract with them a month ago, they had the nerve to get angry because I asked them what have you done since I signed the contract? They had done nothing. They had not even talked to the company where the accident happened; this was 28 days after I signed the contract. I never heard from them again after the first meeting. They are a group of liars and SHYSTERS. The lawyer I met with forgot our first meeting at 10:00 a.m., he was still in bed; he apologized. I had to take more time and meet him in the afternoon, which he was 30 minutes late. I talked to John Daspit, one of their hubris airhead lawyers, who could not even give me a straight answer or quote the law. He gave me information that was the total opposite from what the original lawyer told me at the first meeting. That first lawyer signed me on and told me I had a case. Please do not waste your time, money, and case. I am now left holding the bag with doctors' bills from doctors they referred me to for my case as my legal representatives. I was shot in my home by a "stray bullet" from my neighbors son shooting down the street this law firm came to home the day after I got out of the hospital and I was on medication and told to sign a contract as they promised they would help w my healthcare and that I definitely had a case. After months of trying to contact them and begging them for help I had to get a Harris health in order to go to all the dr appointments I needed for my hearing and just checks as the bullets is still on my head. Still no help I reached out to another attorney who I was trying to hire. Now upon I had to tell Daspit I no longer wanted their representation only to afterwards find out even after they don't represent me they would be entitled to a high percentage of whatever the settlement would be so the other attorney couldn't represent me as after the percentage the new law firm would take even at a lower rate it just wouldn't be fair to me. So I went in Daspit law firm and explained everything to them and sign a new contract with them as I believed it was the only option. Ok I sign the new contract in there off and everything is fine. A year goes but they catch the guy that shot the gun and he goes on trial the DA ask me if I have an attorney in reference to compensation to me bc I got shot in the head and bullet is still there I say yes I have an attorney. Now I email the attorney who was over my case all this to keep them informed. Over the next year I call and leave message after message never a call back. So I go down to and go to the office after waiting a long time I get called into the same room I signed the second contract and Mr Micheal comes in and was very rude and talked to me like I was clinically insane or something and tells me I never rehired them never came back up there and the person I am saying I emailed doesn't work there anymore so they have no record if my emails. I have asked for all my documents on my case and they refused I was told they are boxed up stored bc i got shot in 2019. So yea I know I signed two different contracts with them. One when they came to my house after I got out of the hospital and the second when I came back up there to rehire them once I couldn't hire new representation due to their percentage weather they represented me or not. Just beware when dealing with this law firm they will promise you anything to get you to sign with no results for you in the end read more
