Then the pizza is delivered to the table of your choosing. On the 2nd visit, while waiting for pizza, I witnessed small children running around in the kitchen area during food preparation. I thought it was dangerous because of hot appliance and frying oil. Also, quite unsanitary because of air borne bacteria. I can only assume, classes not in session on that day. I guess in this part of the state, it is ok to bring children to work. The first time we had a large Plain pizza pie and a standard toss salad. I immediately thought, a supermarket frozen pizza and bag salad would have tasted better. Also, cost me less. We thought we give it another try. Since the place is in walking distance and maybe another type of pie would taste better. Therefore, we shared a New York style pie and wings. Again, the food was very bland. The wings were horrible. Again, flavorless and not well cooked.I guess we needed to request "well done". I am accustom to NYC and NJ Italian, family owned, hand tossed dough, style pizza. Perhaps, not a fair comparison to this place. Most importantly, had to dispute bill because was over charged. Per menu, the mild flavor wings included mild sauce and blue cheese. Yet, charged separately for sauce and blue cheese. The large black binded menu, clearly stated what was included on each pizza pie and cost. Yet, overcharged for toppings. We are not returning However, if you like bland food and paying high prices; go for it.

The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and portions of delicious food. The outstanding customer service is definitely worth returning for. The staff was very friendly and stayed busy with lots of locals, but also quite a crowd from the local university grabbing a bite to eat. The ambiance is your typical small Italian Restaurant, tiled walls and floors, Italian themed decorations and also pictures of the Sergi family which is a nice touch. The front entrance area is for take out or eat in and where they make pizza, then in the back is a dining area with wait staff for service and behind that the kitchen. They also have a large room on the side for events/banquets. I found out after my first visit you can park behind the building in a free local municipal lot and enter through a back entrance. Ok down to the food - The wings were delicious - fresh chicken, crisped just right with a perfect house sauce. The sauce is thick, (has to be cut with butter) and was just delicious, I would literally put that s^&t on everything lol. The pizza was also excellent - round style Neapolitan with a soft yet crisp crust, delicious cheese and the sauce was slightly sweet (hello San Marzano's!) just how I like it. There was definitely flavor and spice in the sauce. The pizza rolls were addictive and not for anyone trying to lose weight. Back home they would call it an inside out, but I found these to be tastier. At our last dinner before leaving down, I tried out a stuffed pepper that came highly recommended. It was a meal unto itself, fresh stuffed Bell Peppers with rice and meat topped with cheese and sauce. My family and I were stuffed and really enjoyed the food and hospitality we received at Sergi's. We got to meet a good portion of the staff which included multiple generations of the Sergi family. Good people with big hearts who make some killer food. Thanks guys!!

This is a situation where if I could select 0 stars I would because we were never actually served…read moreand instead were yelled at to leave. We entered the pizzeria with a service dog in training and were immediately confronted by a small dog that was completely loose and growling at the dog I was training. My dog stood still and did not vocalize or lunge back. Someone who worked there then came out and yelled at us to leave because dogs are not allowed. My dog was wearing a vest from the non-profit organization that he is from that identifies him as a service dog in training. As a service dog in training he is not covered under ADA, which I fully understand and respect. However, I am typically at least given the opportunity to explain that I am training the dog, and once the establishment understands the situation and sees that my dog follows all the same rules as a service dog, access is typically allowed. My issue with this place is not that we were denied access but the way the situation was handled. I understand that people bringing their pets with them everywhere and the entitlement that sometimes comes along with that is a problem. I understand and actually appreciate strict no pet policies, and respect a businesses decision not to allow a service dog in training. But, the fact that there is a confrontational dog completely loose in the pizzeria while being yelled at to leave because dogs aren't allowed did not sit well with me. I always try and put myself in the shoes of someone who is blind or has a disability that requires the use of a service dog, and after experiencing how we were treated I did not want to support this business so we ended up getting pizza elsewhere. It was a very unfortunate experience. Hopefully the dog is much friendlier to people, but even still, not everyone wants to be greeted by a loose dog nor do they want a dog loose in a place they will be dining.

Their homemade blue cheese was pretty good. For a "pizza" place it honestly was probably the worst restaurant pizza I've had in a very long time. No flavor to their sauce, the dough was super meh and the cheese was tasteless. I feel like they just buy $1.99 Tombstone Pizza and reheat it. The lady that took my order had no clue how "hot/spicy" their wing sauce was, couldn't give me an estimate on how long it was going to take (the place was totally empty). Every time the upstairs apartments flushed the toilets you could hear it in the dining room. Very unappetizing.

If I were to get them again I'd ask for extra balsamic. Personal preference. The Sunday Funday Special was large cheese pizza and 10 wings. $18.99 The pizzas was good (my husband loved it) I thought It needed more sauce. It was thin crust and I reheated leftovers in air fryer and added red sauce and it made all the difference! I really liked it the second time around with a little more sauce! We got the two wing sauces that the review recommended. The House whiskey sauce & the orange teriyaki sauce. They were both phenomenal. I honestly can't pick a favorite. I would order both sauces again! We were kind of bummed that they no longer had sweet potato fries, but the SRQ chips were an excellent replacement! Made us forget about the sweet potato fries immediately! We got waters to drink... All of that food and our (cash) bill was $49!! Saving 1.50 by not using a card. The servers were very good. They basically both ran the entire dining room and bar flawlessly and with great attitudes!! I'd highly recommend!!
