I had the JL HO112-w6v3, the JL XD600/1v2, the JL LoC-22, and the JL Remote Level Control installed on my 2017 Lexus ES-350 and I must say the crew at Dr. Dashboard did a phenomenal job. Everything was done perfectly, and in a timely fashion. It cost me an arm and a leg but I am confident I couldn't have had it done anywhere else with as high quality at the price point. I went by there because my back speakers were not working. The guy said that they probably both went out. I asked him "at the same time?" He said most likely. Then gave me a quote of 300.00 to fix it. I told him I would hold right now. So I returned home and messed with the settings and come to find out it was just a setting in the radio. Dr. Dashboard claims to be the best in Evansville actually the only car audio installer in Evansville. I made an appointment and for 11am didn't get my car back until 4PM. They charged more for the install then the actual stereo cost. So many itemized charges for who knows what. I asked for an XM ready stereo only to find out that it needed XM receiver and etc. to actually receive XM. I was very plain about this only to find out today. I needed additional items to receive my XM signal. They are suppose to be the experts but yet didn't bother to tell me this important piece of information. If you live in Evansville you don't have much choice. If you can go to a surrounding town for car audio installation. I would take that option. read more

I contacted Dr. Dashboard via their Internet site and received a quick response as to a possible solution to the problem with the front camera in my truck. The next day I called them for an appointment for the repair and was informed of the price of a new camera and of their hourly labor rate. I arrived about 15 minutes before the appointment time and they quickly took my truck in for evaluation. It took about 15 minutes for them to verify that my camera had gone bad and that there was corrective wiring that needed to be done. It was obvious that the previous owner of my truck had installed the camera in a less than professional manner which may have been the cause of problem. The job was completed in about an hour and the final cost was just under the estimate. A very professional job was done and now I have a new front parking camera that works great with my old Rosen Electronics radio! Looking forward to having them install a new radio/navigation and backup camera on my wife's car. Extremely professional staff and techs. read more

My Wife had a Viper Remote Start/Security System put in our Mustang back in Feb. 2017 at Dr. Dashboard. It has been working fine until this morning when I used the remote start, it decided not shut off when it was supposed to. It wouldn't even shutoff hitting the brake pedal or turning the key on and then off. The only way I was able to shut it off was by pulling the pcm fuse and after that it would just turn over but wouldn't fire up. So it stuck at my house. I called Dr. Dashboard and spoke with RJ and told him the situation, he was able to look up our purchase because I had the receipt in front of me. He told me he wanted to speak with a tech and call me back in few minutes. In a few minutes he did call back and ask if it was ok to send a tech to my house. I told him sure and he also said there would not be a service charge for the visit. Within a half hour the tech Robert was in my garage looking at the issue. He ended up putting in a new module for the system and did some final sets and adjustment and had our Mustang running again. I asked if there was any charge for this and he said No, that it was all covered under Warranty. This is what I call Customer Service and backing up their Product. They had Us running again in less than a hour after showing. We will never use anyone else for the Services they offer, They are the Best!!! read more

I first have to say that I did not have any work done here. Their work may be top notch, but not for their prices. I purchased an amplifier and wanted them to install it. I called around to a few different places, including Best Buy right up the road. These guys had a price almost 2.5 times what Best Buy charged. Seemed a little outrageous to charge that much for such a basic service. Not getting my business. read more
