So, you might want to make a reservation on those 2 nights. The view is indeed fantastic, so if you are looking for that - it is a great place to be. However, do note that the drinks are somewhat overpriced, e.g. a coffee costs 4.5€ which is clearly above Dusseldorf average in terms of price, but is nothing special in terms of quality. Overall: awesome design and lights, neat waiters, wonderful view, but drinks do not offer a good price-quality ratio. I have never eaten here.

Cocktails - no complaints. Over a couple of hours we had a selection of drinks. They were all very good. Although, I thought my manhattan had a bit too much sweet vermouth - still good, just a little too sweet. Overall - definitely, highly recommended. Beuys is a nice contrast to the usual drinking of Alt in the pubs.

This is inside the hotel Kö 59. The next day we gave it a second try since there was life band playing. Same, the dirty martini came out to be a vesper martini. Maybe Germans don't drink dirty martini? After I asked them, they tried to make a dirty martini with olive and still didn't taste right. Perhaps their olives juices are different ‍

There is no dress code and casual clothes and sneakers worked out which was refreshing because the bar is really high end and I was concerned for a minute when we arrived. The only downside in my experience was that the service was not great. Maybe because the place was packed or maybe because the staff is just not super friendly, but i felt like we were brushed away and rushed.
