My sister in law, which has celiac disease, specifically ordered a GLUTEN-FREE pizza and when the pizza was brought to the table, I asked the server to confirm this was gluten free. It was NOT. They took it back without telling us if they would make a new one, give us a refund, and for 35 minutes, we waited for a new pizza. We tried to contact the server, manager, etc and for another 45 minutes waiting for the check to pay. My sister in law suffers from internal bleeding, stomach cramps, and MORE if she ingests even a gram of gluten. So it's HURTFUL when a restaurant will not only make this mistake of serving a pizza non-gluten free, but not apologize or give your patrons even a minute of your time. DO NOT COME HERE. I realize gluten-free restaurants are difficult to come by, but I will not be coming back and WARN anyone that attends to beware of the service and food they serve because it was truly HORRIBLE!

The place has Wi-Fi so I was able to run some errands as I was eating. I ordered the home made pasta with veal strips. It had a great taste. The pasta was cooked well and it had a nice firm texture. The sauce had several spices and they gave it and the veal a great flavor. I woUld definitely go back to this place.

Looking for an early breakfast, Yelp lead us here on our way to the Central S-Bahn station, and I was super impressed with the many varieties of egg dishes, all manner of espresso drinks, and their hearty German fare with a gourmet twist (the Bavarian mustard is what's up!) The menu is only in German, but our server spoke great English, and tried to recall some of German I learned a long, long time ago. Actually, I think Hüftengold means love handles, but don't worry, the food seemed pretty healthy here, although there were some tempting looking pastries in the case. The ambiance was really charming with tall candles at every table, pillows on the chairs, and a clean and modern aesthetic without being boring. I wanted to linger and read a book, or just chat the day away. Definitely a diamond in the not quite rough, but not an exciting city for food. Sehr gut!

It's as Goldilocks would say: just right. Try Rührei scrambles, they're yum. Also, the decor is so cool. The crowd is hipster chic, with a health dose of LGBT action, which this girl loves ;) P.S. I'm pretty sure the bathrooms are unisex. Either that, or they're just confusing.

Normally when going to a steak house the meat is prepare so one doesn't require steak sauce or some other condiment. Not here the meat was flavorless. Big disappointment. The other thing was the meal was several without a side of veggies. Again, not sure is that is a local thing, but I was surprised. The baked potato was well prepared with sour cream and butter. The service was nice. The food was brought out hot. This was a very average experience for me.

It was light, refreshing, and flavorful. Served with bread almost crustini-like which was a nice touch. Main course was a ribeye with a baked potato and bread side. The ribeye was cooked medium rare as requested. But not with the proper technique. It was cooked on too low of a heat not allowing any sort of crust to form on the outside. Seasoning was mediocre. The baked potato was smothered in a delicious sour cream dressing. The bread was buttered and slightly seasoned which was delightful. For dessert was the lava cake with a scoop of ice cream. The lava cake was delectable. The ice cream was nothing to write home about but complimented the cake well. The downside was the berry purée that came with the dish. It was as if they poured an entire bowl of the purée onto the plate. It completely overwhelmed the dessert with sourness and tartness. I had to dodge it as best as I could. Overall was satisfied and would be interested in coming back to see if things would improved.
