My partner and I were staying at the hotel for a weekend. We ate outside and our experience was…read moremixed. The setting is five-star. We were in the beautiful and tastefully decorated courtyard. Absolutely wonderful. The service was four-star. The staff are very friendly and generally competent but sometimes lack the absolute professionalism you might expect from a place like this. The food is three-star. The menu aims very high and the food is priced accordingly (example: I had a small cod fillet with chanterelle mushrooms for nearly €30; the cheese platter was €9 - a relatively normal price but the portion was half what I would normally get). The food is generally beautifully presented but the portions too small and the taste not interesting enough to warrant anything like the price. So really I am very conflicted about this place - location and service both very good but the prices are simply overinflated for the quality of food that is on offer.

Der gelernte Koch und die Hotelfachfrau verstehen es, eine solide Vesperkarte mit selbst gemachten Rotweinschinken, rohen Schinken, hausgemachten Bratwürsten, Kochkäse oder der eigenen Spezialität Feigensenfdressing mit einer kleinen, aber sehr feinen regionalen Speisekarte zu verbinden. Bei dem Angebot an Vorspeisen, Suppen, Hauptgängen und Desserts, ist für Fleischliebhaber wie auch für Vegetarier immer etwas dabei. Zusätzlich zur Speisekarte findet man des öfteren auch mal ein Tagesgericht auf der Tafel. Das kann ein Fischgericht sein, mal Gänse, mal Zicklein, je nachdem was angeboten wird. In der heimeligen, holzgeprägten Stube, dem Bistro und dem Freisitz im Innenhof kommen durch die freundliche Art von Nastasja Erhard und Ihrem Team schnell interessante Gespräche zustande.
