Cozy cafe in the center of the city. The atmosphere inside is warm & rustic (vintage signs, long…read morewood tables), while the seating outside in the courtyard is perfect for the summer.
I grabbed a late breakfast and went for a cappuccino (2.90 EUR) and greek yogurt with fruit, walnuts and honey (5.30 EUR). The cafe is well-known for roasting their own coffee beans, so I was pretty excited for the coffee. The cappuccino was good, but pretty small, even for German standards. Next time I'll have to get plain black coffee so I can taste their beans better. The yogurt was great, thick & creamy with a coarse/natural texture that I really enjoyed. I think it could be elevated if they used berries/fancier fruit instead of bananas & grapes, though. My friend got cheesecake & it looked yum. As far as service goes, it was standard, and the waitress spoke English.
If you need a leisurely coffee break from shopping in the area or want to stay in the city center, this is a charming choice.
