It has conference and meeting rooms which are very well kept. The whole building is light and airy and you can hire the school hall for functions and childrens parties from here. They also provide a complete party package which is great and very well organised. Great toilet facilities, couple of vending machines and they serve a small range of hot drinks over the counter. During school hols they have some great childrens activities which don't cost too much. Also have internet access and if you join the library I think you get a limited amount of access for free. The library is very well maintained and they have a story time for younger children which is great and usually involves a bit of art and craft as well. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

It has been called The Priest's House, suggesting a link with the church, but it may have been built as the residence of a prosperous local tradesman. The ground floor of the house contains a dining room and a large vaulted hall that would have been used for entertaining guests, while the first floor contains a gallery and three bedchambers. The kitchen was an outbuilding that exists today only as a few ruined walls, and there is a small garden adjacent to the house. Mrs Ada Frances Jennings bequeathed the house to the nation in 1960, together with a sum of money for its repair. The stone and plasterwork have been extensively renovated, although many of the original oak beams and carvings can still be seen. The building contains reproduction furniture and tapestries in the medieval style

The Arts Centre (now called the Poly) is on the main street in town just past the Falmouth…read morebookshop, they have regular events almost every night ranging from theatre, music and they also have a small cinema that shows a lot of foreign films and art house productions that normally wouldn't get seen. They also show the usual blockbusters etc around a month after their release and because the cinema is so nice we often wait until then to go watch a film, with fewer people it's a much better experience. Also just as you go in the doorway, to the left they usually have a gallery display and to the right they occasionally have a book sale in the evenings after a film, i've picked up some fantastic books from there! Word of advice if you want snacks and nibbles during your film they sometimes have them on the counter but not always and not many, so pop across the road to Threshers and grab yourself a bag of something.
