This school is a really bad option. As a student currently studying their GCSEs here, it's absolute…read moremadness. There are so many things I can talk about that makes the school not good, like how the school pressures us so much to be 'the best', which we are not able to do. Another thing is the population of the school. There isn't enough space for all of us, and so finding spare rooms or something is hectic, and it's near impossible to get from classroom to classroom. Not only this, but trips have lessened and/or became worse over the years. What I mean by this is that in year 7, I went Thorpe park. From that moment on, trips have become less often, and aren't very good. In the entire 5 and a bit years, I have been at this school, I have been on 3 trips, whereas my younger sister (who goes bullers and has been there for 4 and a bit years) has been to many different places, I lose count. Also, may I complain about our old Headmaster, Mr Paul Murphy. He was the nicest person actually in that school, and he goes all behind our backs and did what he did. No one knew about this. Linking back to the school wanting us to be 'the best', they make sure that all their students are behaving perfectly when Ofsted comes, and if not they will punish severely. If Ofsted wasn't there, none of that would happen. The school basically lies to the council to make sure the school stay open. And my final point is bullying. I have been a victim of bullying and loneliness and anxiety all my life, since year 2. I thought that it would all change when I went to TRS, but it got worse, and there was no one to help me. The most recent case is where boys were calling me a very rude name (I will not say, it may upset..) and it took the school 2 months to actually decide to do something about it, which I think is shocking. So, i warn you now. DO NOT SNED YOUR CHILD HERE!!

It's better than any public sports centres I have been to in London: clean changing/shower rooms with lockers, dance studio with full length mirror (actually, not sure if I actually like seeing my face turning red in real time), lovely exercise mats - and a music system that actually works! It's a bit difficult to find on the first visit as it's a concrete block hidden between the main building and the Westway flyover. Now that I know the way, I'll definitely return, perhaps not just for Rikki's class.

I used to have to schelp to Kensal but this is now much more convenient for me as it's a stroll from Royal Oak station. When going there for the first time take note that the entrance is actually on the side past the garage, not the main road. The sports hall is enormous and the parkour class shares the space with a basketball class but there's no clash and the two can occur concurrently with few problems. The floor is great (new), slightly squishy and with lots of markings for various sports, and the equipment is all super new which means it's very satifying to play with. The class itself is really good. An excellent workout in the warm up and warm down and a good level of challenging but achievable exercises working on various skills like congs, tic-tacs and sideways monkeys. i.e. jumping on, around or over stuff. It's really hard work but good fun and the instructors are very good. The only down side to the centre is that it's so new they have yet to put in vending machines so you can't get any drinks or snacks.

Firstly, the way they teach allows students to move at their own pace, whether that's fast or slow. They help the slow students to improve, meanwhile allowing the smarter kids to continue to improve without being held back. Secondly, the teachers are amazing. They truly truly care about the students, which is helped by the smaller class sizes. It's a wonderful school; I cannot recommend it enough.

Fees start from £57 a week. Situated in beautiful grounds, with its adventure playground backing into the Ashdown Forest itself, the school is a safe and wonderful place to learn. From Parents and Toddlers through Infant classes, Montessori materials are utilised. Reading and writing are practised daily from age 4 with the goal of children being able to read and write competently before joining the main school. The main difference between Greenfields and other schools is the unique teaching method it uses. This method (Study Technology) isolates the barriers preventing or hindering a child from learning and then provides precise tools to deal with them. Its use allows any child of any ability to learn anything - even those who have been labelled 'dyslexic'.
