The new child I spoke of was from Amsterdam and knew only a few words of English. I can give many examples of the uncaring approach to children during the time my daughter was at your school.

This has got to be the worst school my children have ever attended. If you want to pay high school…read morefees for your children to be looked after for a couple of hours and learn absolutely nothing then this is the place for you. They have poor education, sports and discipline policy. The head teacher has preferential treatment to certain parents. Our children attended the school for a year and more than 60% of the children in both their classes left to go to other schools. The frustration with all parents came because of their lack of communication and organisation. As a parent I had to put my children into extra tuition classes as well as pay school fees. Many of the teachers at Sinclair house are new to teaching pupils... They also have a high turnover of staff which is a reflection of the poor school leadership. Our children attend a new school now and their grades a noticeably higher and I can see a major improvement with the teaching quality. Our children actually enjoy going to school now. It was a complete mistake to take our kids to this school. First impression looks good but in the long term you'll find that it's not worth having your children their at all and that you're wasting your money. They won't learn very much and are likely to be miserable.

Hotham is a fantastic fully inclusive primary school. Our daughter has just left year 6 having…read morejoined in reception and our son will be going in to year 4 in September having joined in the nursery. We have friends at all the local schools in Putney and as far as I can see the level of teaching at Hotham is as good, if not better (as very few Hotham children are tutored). An added bonus is that children will start secondary school with a very good understanding of French. There is an active PTA who put on well organised fundraising events for the school and there are lots of opportunities to learn musical instruments and go on PLG trips.

The buildings are also nice- they are old fashioned but look pleasant, and I know that there is a sixth form coming soon.
