Here he is still in court (12 years after the fact) due to two separate divorce decrees being left open and each has different wording which leaves everything up to interpretation. Not to mention his ex-came back after him for a monthly pension check once he retired (11 years later) even though she accepted a very large payout (she wanted the cash at the time) now stating her former attorney did not inform her she could have received monthly payments upon his retirement. Yes, all these years later back in court he goes. We were given Bill's name by a friend and she said he is the guy your need!!! Once we came to see him with my husband's 12-inch-thick divorce file (the file is large due to the fact his ex has had him in court every year since the divorce in 2012 with the exception of the year 2017.) As overwhelming as the file looked, Bill took the time to listen, make notes and retrieve all the facts from each rule to show cause thrown at my husband over the years. Needless to say, Bill fought the rule to show cause for my husband's pension, and it was dismissed and "closed with prejudice" so she can't come back at him again. With that said there are other old rules Bill is still working on diligently to close out, but we can't say enough about Bill Keene. We would highly recommend him. His professionalism and knowledge of the law will put you at ease. He is definitely without a doubt the lawyer you want in your corner.

Karen was paid all relevant fees well over $5,000. Literally a few days prior to this important aspect of the case coming before the judge, Karen moved to withdraw herself as counsel for my sister and had herself removed from the case (I was present before the judge on that occasion, but I was not provided any opportunity to state my knowledge of the situation). Honestly, it may well be a blessing in disguise because I feel Karen only made the situation worse for my sister overall, but still this last-minute action seems very unprofessional. While I would like to mention more details of how Karen in my opinion hurt my sister and her case, I don't feel I am liberty to do so as her case is ongoing. While I hold nothing personal against Karen, I am writing this review for others to be wary.

The day she signed on to the case she talked very big about how tough and 'real' she was but only two months in we caught her in a lie. If you dared call her out like I did on her lack of compassion and integrity, poor communication, disorganization, scatterbrained demeanor, and outright lies, she'd say whatever she could to get 'out of trouble' including gaslight you, even if you have receipts (we do) of her saying something and not following through on it. She took every opportunity to exert power over us, including policing our language when we got justifiably angry at her abuse of power and inability to get things done, sometimes leaving us dead broke (late and missed Total Temporary Disability checks) and unable to pay our bills. When a lawyer jokes about being chummy with Opposing Council, it's a red flag. Did I mention she dropped our case when we were nearing its end?
