I definitely recommend checking out the other Google reviews of Rachel because they are all glowing. My husband and I hired Rachel for both our engagement and wedding photos and this was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process! In total, I looked at about 15 photographers' websites and requested quotes from 7 photographers because I knew how important having a photographer we liked would be. As I went through this process, I was looking for three qualities: a) I liked their photography style, b) I could trust them to be professional, punctual, and (most importantly) kind to me, my husband, friends, and family, and c) I would enjoy spending 8 hours with them as they documented some of the most precious moments of my life. Rachel was our first meeting, and from the moment I met her, I knew that this was the person I wanted to photograph our wedding. She is kind, calm, and professional. She's able to guide you through the process of getting your photo taken and she makes the wedding day so much easier. Prior to the wedding day, she provided suggestions to for our wedding day timeline so we could do our immediate family photos before the wedding (something we wanted to do so we could have more time during cocktail hour.) We almost didn't do engagement photos, but as my husband and I have never had our photos taken professionally before prior to this year, Rachel recommended them to be more comfortable the day of the wedding. She was definitely correct that it helped the wedding day and we got some amazing photos out of it at the National Gallery of Art. We just got our sneak peek photos back (less than a week after the wedding, which was so impressive), and I was so excited because I have been itching to write a glowing review of Rachel since she first did our engagement photos earlier this year. Looking through these photos, it was so fun to see how she captured our wedding day, including small moments that captured the love between my husband and I as well as the love and support of our family and friends, and I am going to look back at these photos fondly for decades to come. Overall, I had such a blast working with Rachel, and I highly, highly recommend Rachel for your photography needs.

We had a candidate withdraw their acceptance of their new job, and so we informed Sam a month in advance that we no longer needed his services. He let us know that he "cannot issue refunds" even when work is not rendered. This was written nowhere on the invoice he sent us. Upon review of his website, I see it is buried in his terms and conditions page. Why someone would choose to do business this way, I have no idea. I could not in good conscience take my customers' money and then refuse to refund it even if I performed no work. Sam feels differently.

To start, Jeremiah and Gwyneth were both very professional and easy to work with. When we contacted them, they quickly made us feel at ease as they took us through the variety of options. We had been doing lots of comparison shopping and had preliminary conversations with photographers before, but not only did the price ranges include flexibility and affordability, but Sheepdog made us feel comfortable. Right away. That's important, and hard to come by in a competitive market. Once we formally selected them, they got the job done. They coordinated with the Planners and venue, and played an integral role in ushering us through our Big Day (and capturing every moment). They were a hit with the guests, performing their duties with the utmost professionalism, but also providing a warm and welcome energy that tied the proceedings together beautifully. Kudos to Gwen for sustaining such a high energy level. She rocked AND rolled, zipping from vantage point to vantage point, remaining unobtrusive while being ever present to capture the perfect moment. And that they did. The chemistry between Billy and Taylor was perfect for how well they got a long, and could figure out what you were imagining in yoThey were extremely organized, always were available to chat, and when planning a wedding this is crucial and gave such peace of mind. Everyone was asking About them during our reception. Their team just fit perfectly with them, and they felt like part of our wedding party . I do not endorse people I do not believe in and I am absolutely endorsing Bill at Whole Heart Studios because I believe in what he is doing. I am also a customer, Bill took my Professional headshot for work. He made me laugh, gave different angles to pose to, and I immediately got to see what shots he took. He even edited some of the photos by my recommendation. I easily would have paid $300 for the work he did.
