William Brooks Construction is simply a middleman who marks up the prices (a lot) from mediocre to…read morelow end installers. He is never on-site, does not supervise his crew, and charges you to fix any mistakes you find caused by his subcontractors. The mess left by the guys he sent to our home took us hours to clean up. We asked him to do his own clean up and construction waste removal but he indicated that would be another additional charge. The installer ran the electrical circuitry wrong, but William said it would cost us to come back out and run it correctly as he had to have a guy make a return trip. The installers completely fouled our Master Bathroom (explosions all over toilet) when we had indicated the work area bathroom to use. Seems his guys took advantage of us not being there during the remodel and helped themselves to the contents of our refrigerators and wandered around our home in areas they should never have been in. They brought all construction materials through our home (there is an easy, wide outside staircase), scraping our walls and framing in dirt and sand in our stairwell carpets. I can't tell you what an absolutely terrible, costly experience we had either this guy. On the bright side, he said he would come back out and fix all the mistakes, miscues, miscuts, mismatched wood panels, etc., caused by his install and then sent us a quote to redo the crappy workmanship. Pay up or you're out of luck. Run! Run fast! Never, ever use this guy. Worst remodel experience ever. It cost us nearly $20k to fix all the mistakes on what was originally a $26k contract.

Ended up installing the incorrect wainscoting, and staining a color that is not close to the matching woodwork. We are left with a complete wall that does not match, has holes where outlets are supposed to be, and the finish work is unacceptable. His 'teams' left the tear out material scattered all over our yard, helped themselves to whatever was in the refrigerator, left our bathroom a gross mess, used our furniture as ladders. William agreed to have all the debris placed in the carport, after stating he would have to charge an additional $1500 to have a dumpster. Removal specifically was not included in the quote. Every other contractor we have worked with always took whatever debris was torn out away. William touts himself as being a Christian, but his business model is deceiving. He does not stand by his guarantee of quality workmanship and satisfied clients.
