He always reminds you to floss and gives you floss on your way out to reinforce and will give you a toothbrush too if you need one. They also send out reminders every 6 months - because doesn't everyone forget to go to the dentist unless there is a problem? For me over the years he has done: cleanings, filled cavities, root canals, and removed part of my gum in the middle of my front two teeth with no problem/scarring/pain. His business looks like it was once a home, but that's why I love it. It's home-town welcoming as is Dr. Law. I live in Columbus, but wouldn't trade in my dentist for anybody here. The staff is so kind and welcoming. They don't judge if you haven't taken care of your teeth the way you should have and the overall experience is just so great. I HIGHLY recommend this place. You'll love the environment, the doctor, the staff, and your care.

I was seen promptly and the tech weighed me and checked my BP and pulse. We reviewed my prescriptions to see if renewals were needed. Janelle spent ample time with me discussing my health and gave me work orders for some screenings I needed. I feel like their team has great procedures in place so nothing is missed ... plus they are kind. I give them a 5 star rating for excellent service!

The staff is warm and welcoming, always helpful, and they get to know you. This is something that makes this office extra special. I have recently moved away from Zanesville and after a year of not coming in for a visit, they called and left me a friendly message reminding me to come in for an annual check-up, just to secure my spot as their patient. I was living in Chicago at the time and unfortunately had to say my goodbye. Over the years I have become extremely thankful for every person that works in the office, not just Dr. Dunmeyer. I appreciated their trust in knowing me as their patient. The fact that they know and understand my needs and health issues, and always keep them in mind, means the world to me. It made things convenient and actually going to the doctor enjoyable. While I may not be visiting this office anymore, I know my family is. It makes me very happy to know that they're all in good hands here.

They are very compassionate & Dr. May is very patient & gentle. The staff is competent & they work together well as a team. I've had several emergency situations with bad tooth aches over the years & have always been able to get an appointment quickly to address the problems. At other dental practices, I even dreaded getting my teeth cleaned. Regina, the hygienist at May Dental, is great! She makes sure you are comfortable & is very through. My teeth always feel better after she finishes cleaning them. Don't mind getting my teeth cleaned at all now! It is a good practice with great people, I highly recommend them!

Dr May said I needed to have a filling, so I made an appointment to go at 3:00 PM. They made me wait 40+ minutes past the appointment time and didn't even take me back till 3:40. When I finally went back, he didn't even bother asking me if I wanted the more expensive filling, he just went for it anyway. The worst part isn't even the dentist, it's the desk staff. They are all so incredibly rude. They sent me a super confusing bill for over $400, so when we called in to ask questions they were so incredibly rude and literally hung up on us THREE TIMES TOTAL! First up they knowingly knew that our insurance was out of network but withheld the information. . Vicki, one of the desk workers, literally said how we didn't do OUR jobs with the insurance and how "this conversation wasn't fruitful and she was done and hung up". You do not treat a customer that way despite how annoyed you are! It is their job to serve their customers. Gracie, the other desk worker, also hung up on us and we had to call back. When we finally were able to give them the credit card (since they had already hung up twice) she said nothing else and hung up. Not even a goodbye. They just don't want to deal with their customers. We have never felt so unvalued as paying customers who had given them HUNDREDS of dollars. This place is unorganized, dishonest, and flat out rude. Take your business anywhere else but here.
